It's so sad, and the table its upside down, because after he felt loneliness after a period of time, in something like xmas or  his birthday, he went ragefully against everything done to cheer up the scene(explanation made, now time for tears). Its so f***** sad.

no it doesn't firstly because Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is still there it still ends as 'when the Higurashi cry'
if you took out higurashi then yeah what you said would be correct or at least close but its still there so the higurashi are being mentioned as crying not hayate the combat butler.

meh even i don't know most of that vocabulary, i simply know the translated titles and with that alone its fairly easy.
but i'm guessing you didn't know what higurashi ment, and was going off the crappy translation title 'when they cry' rather than 'when the higurashi cry' proper title
