Especially in RPG's. Sometimes there are songs that get me in the mood to kick a bosses ass all across the floor. So one day I was sitting around playing and I came up with a question for all of my fellow CC family members. If you were to have a boss theme for yourself whether you were the boss or you were fighting the boss, what would be your theme. You can choose from any videogame or actual song.If I was a boss my theme would be the song: A Challenge to God-Four Guardian Kings Battle from Romancing Saga.So post your theme song!!!!! So I'll have to say "Maybe I'm a Lion" by the Black Mages. The actual game version is lackluster, as is the theme that follows it. FF8 and Cross disappointed in this regard. That stuff just belongs in a videogame. Pure awesomeness. For something more, er, "mainstream," I guess, "Promised Pain" by Yuki Kajiura, from the Xenosaga Episode III OST. It sort of overwhemls you with a swirl of powerful emotions, awakening a primal, transcendant instinct that reaves through all. A moment of revelation where all fears and doubts vanish, and words such as 'courage' and 'willpower' become meaningless. It's just you and your objective, and nothing can stop you from reaching it.Then, there's also Uematsu's "Tenrai ~ Divinity II", from FFVIIAC. I know it's not a game music, but I guess it sort of counts, anyway. Everytime I hear this theme I feel like grabing a sword, jumping 1 mile high and cutting a giant dragon in half. Re: Your Battle Hymn « Reply #4 on: September 13, 2007, 06:05:02 pm » "Number One" by Hazel Fernandes. It's basically Ichigo's theme in Bleach. They always play it at the turning points in battle and such.I like the instrumental version better myself, but I can't find that version anywhere to download. So I had to settle for the vocal version.Vocal Version:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwpNCXM_imoI'll try to find the instrumental version in the actual show on Youtube, but that's a little tougher to do, so enjoy this for now. I do like that too I guess.I meant a instrumental version, without having audio in the show in it. I've yet to find that. That one normally hypes me up.Oh hey, to all them One Winged Angel fans, I guess it's going to be on the VIDEO GAMES LIVE:GREATEST HITS - VOLUME ONE album...Here's to hoping that some other volume has a friggin CHRONO song on it! « Last Edit: September 13, 2007, 08:27:16 pm by V_Translanka » Logged Kebrel Springtime of Youth Magical Dreamer (+1250) Posts: 1333 नार्य काम संस्कृत Re: Your Battle Hymn « Reply #9 on: September 13, 2007, 09:47:59 pm » I have been asked this before so I am prepared.*Airship (Jupiter**)Boss fight (V for extreme) Credits (in my life)Dungeon (sci-fi badguy)Race (SAKURA)Town (M.U.L.E. theme)Overworld (Do I really need to say?)Sad (or this one?)Battle (Vanishing Point)Sidekick (Hello, Kitty Girl)<--Favorite song in the world*This list is old and subject to change.**Thank you rushingwind. « Last Edit: September 14, 2007, 08:33:49 pm by Kebrel » Logged Glennleo Chrono Trigger + Crew Temporal Warrior (+900) Posts: 911 Glenn - The true Hero and weilder of the Masamune. I didn't listen to them all in their entirety, but they were still great.Does anyone know how to get songs off the internet and onto your phone, without paying for it?I really want that Chrono Cross theme as my ring tone, but I haven't found an easy way to do it. I tried recording it with my phone's mic, but it sounded like crap.Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Preferably something with an electric guitar, but if not, a symphony orchestra will do.Anyone have a song like that? Logged but2002 Enlightened One (+200) Posts: 297 Death Omen.
