So it turns out I broke the mother board on my PC. It wasn't really that suprising, because the entire setup was a workhorse budget rig I built well over 10 years ago. So I'm stuck without my essentials: Painter 9 is down, so is a tablet, scanner, and card reader for photos. The whole repair job is costing me 300 dollars because I need to replace the motherboard, and, by default, the processor, and I'm going to upgrade to dual core processors and a PCIE board. (my last one was a AGI, which means my video card is also outdated.)
So I should be back for the 27, when my school semester starts.
oh, and I'm at the library comps, if you were wondering.
