Yumichika is stilllllll awessssoooommmmeeee.

Does anyone know how much longer the Captain Shūsuke Amagai filler will go on for?

No idea. If it's as long as the Bount arc... Jesus.

Quote from: Wikipedia
It is not known at what point this side-story takes place, however there are clues about where it fits in the timeline. For instance, Ichigo has already mastered his hollow transformation, so it must not be prior to the Hueco Mundo arc. Since the Hueco Mundo arc was clearly unfinished at the time this new arc began, it is very likely that the next arc in the series will be that arc's conclusion. However, it still possible there will be yet another "filler" arc after this one is concluded because the manga still does not have very much material in advance of the anime's current (Hueco Mundo) timeline.

Yeah, even that little glimpse of Ikkaku was awesome. He was clearly competing on level with that huge Arrancar.

I just found out recently that my library has about vol 1-20 (more or less) of Naruto, Death Note, & Bleach, so I just started reading Bleach...Why is it called Bleach, btw? I haven't read anything so far that's explained that...>_>

There is no official reason to why Bleach is called Bleach that I know of.

The reason may be:

  • Ichigo's Hair and that Japanese people bleach their hair occasionally
  • Shinigami bleach the souls of the hollows and spirts.
  • Some think its because Tite Kubo is a huge Nirvana fan...hence the name Bleach (one of their albums was called Bleach in the past)*

*This isn't just a guess, Kubo Tite said in an interview that he is a Nirvana fan. Although I doubt this is the reason for the name.

Probably due to Nirvana considering pretty much everything Kubo draws is inspired by music.

V, it gets awesome around volume 10 or 11, by the way.

Boring fight with boring Arrancar with boring uninspired release and boring catchphrase.

lobster wat

"Let's make this guy grow a lobster claw."
"You had a bird man last week, why not go for the full thing and make him a lobster guy?"
"Claw."
"But--"
"CLAW."

Hisagi's Shikai is shown, finally. Heat the Soul 6 could make use of it and actually give him an interesting moveset now.

I hear the fillers are ending by early October.

Anyone else got bored and re-read/watched the Soul Society arc?

I just read vol 5 and was actually surprised...for w/e reason, I didn't expect everyone was going to be getting their own super powery thingy...I probably should have guessed it, but it didn't happen for a while & not a lot was hinting at it (& to be honest, I was loving Chad blindly swinging at the Hollows ^_^).

I also call bullshit, because Ikkaku shouldn't have lost. I think Kubo just wanted to skip his fight and make a bad situation because the other three fights were to display Yumichika, Kira, and Hisagi's powers, but since Ikkaku has already had his Bankai revealed...

I think I posted this a few months back, but:
Quote from: someone on youtube
he looked like gin in that scene, and if mine and my friends fake theiory is correct, gin and urahara will kill aizen from hawaii (urahara openes the gate to wekomundo and gin kills aizen with his bankai which i can only assume is like 3000 miles long)

Yeah. We're getting some plot no jutsu here. Ichigo clearly brushed off lieutenants like they were nothing in the Soul Society arc, and yet now Hisagi and Yumichika are taking out the fraccion of the first three Espada like they're nothing. Hisagi basically has a god mode zanpakuto.

Freaking Ikkaku can't go down that easily...

WHERE IS GRIMMJOW

GRIMMJOW JEAGERJAQUES
