So Ikkaku isn't dead(good) just beat(really lame) and Yumichika was stopped from helping (also lame), but captain Komamura is now fighting(not lame). Over all the issue is kinda lame, and seemed WAY shorter then normal.

No kidding. I thought the Visored would make their appearance by canning that Hollow in seconds, but it was just lame old Komamura. Seriously, THE Shinigami captain (Kenpachi) isn't in this fight, so it's like battle of the supporting characters until the Visored show up.

Ikkaku losing is just pure laziness on Kubo's part, because considering his actual strength and determination, he's pretty much near invincible.

Komamura I like seeing again, since we haven't seen much of him in action and I'd like to see a bit of his backstory. This Po shit or whatever he's called is really annoying me because of the constant stupid 'high and mighty' look on his face. We absolutely do need some speed in the plot though, as of course we're all wondering what in hell's going on back in Hueco Mundo. The Vizard are sure to turn up later... just not soon. They're no doubt being saved for a total badass reveal.

Bleach fillers look to be ending, as it's on what seems to be the final battle of the Captain Shit Stains McVillain arc.

Have to love Iba's face in those two panels. It's like, WTF mixed with utter gross-out disgust.

Ukitake versus Stark. Oh, Ukitake; this isn't going to end well.

Kubotite is sort of plot no jutsu-ing these battles. Ichigo's infiltration of Soul Society is back into unbelievable territory, although I still maintain that Kenpachi would have beaten Komamura.

Yeah, but you gotta admit he does it with such style.

Kenpachi beating Komamura, yeah, that probably would've happened.

Goddammit, I want Shunsui VS Stark, it HAS to happen.

His first manga, Zombie Powder, is really stylish and awesome, too. Unfortunately, he apparently went into a depression at chapter 27 and stopped. Guess who gave him the spirit to continue on and make Bleach? Akira Toriyama.

Yup, I remember it. It made me sad when he was subdued so easily, but I guess my faith in the Springtime of Youth was wavering, because he's FREAKING BACK

I'm actually finding it hilarious that Kisame and Zetsu are going to be standing there at the bijuu statue for a week (remember Kisame said with fewer people the process is slower, it was like a day with all of them) only to find they just wasted their time while Killahbee is kickin' back and enjoying the sun somewhere. It's like downloading a huge program to a Mac only to find it's Windows exclusive.

oh yeah bleach

Ikkaku getting beaten had a purpose, huh. At least he'll stop being so against wasting everything with his Bankai now.

Wooooo hooooo big war beginning, a whole chapter talking about it like a TV show ("It's starting") before it finally kicked off in a neat double page royale.

HAY GUYZ STARK IZ JUS LIEK SHOONSEE I DIDNT SEE THAT COMING

New Naruto chapter was fucking awesome, especially because it was Sasuke-less.

Nope, kinda lost interest in it because Hitsugaya was the main focus. What's it like?

The Hueco Mundo anime arc is back! Episode 190 for those steering clear of the fillers. The first half is a recap, by the way (of Ichigo and the Ulqui/Grimmjow fights), but damn, it's finally back. New opening song is by Aqua Timez.
