What the hell happened? I go away for a couple of days and I find out my account has been deleted?!

I have no idea. I know I didn't do it.

It's possible someone somehow broke the password on my account, logged in, and deleted it...it was quite simple since I figured it wouldn't matter if I kept it complicated...but why would someone do that?

I have no idea why anyone would even want to bother doing anything like that.

Just feel bad for all your post counts and such. I know they don't mean anything in the long run, but it does show that you have been a contributing member to this site. Sadly, there isn't a bunch of ways to show that. Post counts is one of them, and now you don't have it.

That sucks.
I'm seriously bummed out right now. :(

That blows, Kyronea. I saw a few of your posts said 'Guest', but I thought you'd just gone through a period of forgetting to log in after logging out or something similar.

@Glennleo: It's pointless to desire the respect of those who think a post count is a prerequisite of being a valuable member.

EDIT: I'll take a look at the SMF source code and table structures. But don't hold me to finding a solution.

Yes. Then I went away for a couple of days...I was spending a couple of days with my Aunt Linda without computer access.

...

You know...a couple of my siblings were still in my house...it's possible one of them messed with my computer...I don't have any password restrictions on accessing it because I trust them all not to do such a thing....

And of course, I did have that argument with my little brother...

If the investigation shows that the deletion request came from my IP address or however that's shown, then that may have been what happened, because I know I didn't delete my account.

I was about to say, according to the logs, someone deleted your account through your computer.

Be more careful next time. For now, I'll go ahead and try to rename your new account.
