I just wanted to ask, is there any chance that the long-haired man in the clip is Garai?

Yes. There's a topic about this somewhere.

I see. So does that make him evil? I was always under the impression that Garai's soul darkened onyl after he was betrayed by Radius.

What people usually say is that it could not be Dalton because his gates were not time gates. They were dimensional gates to transport his Golems from wherever they originate. Also, Dalton was not really that smart, so it is unlikely that he'd build a time machine, or learn how to time travel via magic. He WOULD have the motivation, but that's about all you can give to him.

I was Magus, guys. He's a class A dick, the only thing he cares about is Schala, and the Fall of Guardia was just the first step in Kid's journey of returning to her "original" state.

...More likely, this guy is Entity 2, put in at the last minute(applies to E as far as Trigger goes) to cover up the major plot hole of Crono and Marle being total badasses.

Just a random, unimportant Porrean. He's not just a shadow because it's a mystery, but because his identity doesn't matter.

On a bit of a tangent, but has it ever been discussed before if Belthasar was behind the Fall of Guardia? Porre, after all, factored into Project Kid so he may have needed to shift the balance of world powers.

It's possible, I guess... But, I have my doubts that Belthazar would purposely set in a chain of events that would cause the annihilation of guardia and the deaths of so many. But who knows, maybe he *knew* their deaths were necessary for the survival of the planet, and the human race, in the long run. Then again, he could have just taken advantage of an inevitable war that was going to happen anyways.
Hmmm... :? Makes you wonder, though...

While Belthasar's plan eventually would save all of existence or w/e...his main goal seems to have been just to save Schala.
