From what I understood of the Developers Room after beating the game with only Serge, things have to be done in a certain sequence there; certain things must be done within the game to access certain content and certain content of the developers room can only be accessed by performing appropriate actions elsewhere in the developers room. It was the principle behind the CT developers room, but they were stinted by the technology of their time. So, too, were the developers of the time stinted when making CC's Developer's room. However, they did have the technology to make it somewhat what they wanted of it. I never put much time into expanding on this theory or checking it out to verify it. By the time I got to the Developer's room, I had already put in the time to get all 44 characters, including Harle, and beaten the game for every ending.

It's a strange place that kind of drifts between dimensions, like Gaspar drifted between times in CT. Think strangely.

There's a nice section of these boards entitled 'Springtime of Youth' that would be just perfect for making posts about any old thing that you want to. In fact, you could have an entire thread to yourself. There's no need to be dragging other threads off-topic. Just giving you a heads up before it becomes annoying and the administrators decide that their intervention is necessary.

"There are many different people in the world. Find
yourself and then you may be able to discover whats inside. .......... is for
specification."

The remaster got a new translation or maybe the japanese version was changed I don't know.
The new version, instead of "is for specification", says "it's a feature not a bug".

This is the truth! This is my belief!...At least for now:

  • Kid already is orphanage kid, she doesn't change costume.
  • There is some sort of shadow overlay in her sprite to make it look like she is hiding in the shadows.
  • When you acess Serge status with the spectra swallow equipped, it glitches the shadow overlay for some reason.
  • Her nods and shakes are merely the programmed reaction she has in the orphanage scene playing over and over again, it has nothing to do with the music playing.
  • Quote
Enter with Serge's Spectra Swallow Equipped and enter in and out of your menu,
checking the Status. Once you get back out, Kid will be in her orphanage costume
wearing it from the top down.
The reason this occurs is Serge's identity is taking on a color or station of
passage which Kid remembers, causing her to immediately come out of the shadows
    in that particular orphanage outfit.
It's very interesting how the programmers have outlined this and when looked at
closely you can only guess how well it was done:

Regular swallow: No effect, kid stays shadow
    Mastermune: Same as previous
    Copper swallow: Same as previous
    Stone swallow: Same as previous
    Silver swallow: Same as previous
Spectra swallow: Causes kid to appear in original Orphanage costume
Why should Kid remember spectra swallow? Spectra swallow is completely optional, not even mastermune is necessary to save Kid from the fire, you can do it with just the Chrono
Cross, besides you can't get developers ending with the mastermune it's impossible.

Story A1: Serge treats others in a way which he himself usually lives as during
the game, Harle takes the black Relic, Serge recognizes his purpose before
    entering the Sea of Eden.
Man in front of door changes his speech to "............". You may wonder what
    or how it occurred.

What is he bragging about Harle taking the Black Relic? You lose Harle before you can even do the Dragon Quests, so that's not right.

Also he says if you advance in the game you get a different developers ending. Too bad you can only get that ending if you beat Lavos directly with Serge alone at the beginning of the game, so if you go advance in the story first, you won't be able to get it anymore.
I just tested, just after you save Riddel you can in fact go to marbule and get the black relic before Harle leave the party. But it doesn't really matter, there is no different dialogue or anything of the sort. It didn't change anything getting the relic with Harle.
