To those familiar with Crisis Core, how would you say the character models stack up against those in Dirge of Cerberus and the Final Fantasy characters in Kingdom Hearts? Are the models in Crisis Core of comparable quality, and do you think the model "styles" would mesh well with one another if seen side-by-side?

Just curious. It's all Chrono, all the time for the next several years for me, but I'm highly interested in FF7 again after seeing a Youtube vid of Tifa totally kicking ass in Kingdom Hearts 2. It was inspiring.

The models look of very similar quality to DoC models, if not the same. Can't be sure about KH models, since I've only ever played it once.

Yeah, the PSP is basically a handheld PS2 in terms of (graphical) power, isn't it?

Yes but it said that PSP has the half of PS2 but the screen is smaller so they can do the same graphics as on PS2. With the smaller screen, developers can do same graphics with less video memory.

Here's G4's X-Play Review - Though it only got 2 outta 5 for lame dialog & simple/boring battle system...But if ya wanna see how it looks, there ya go.

2 out of 5!? Wow, harsh. But whatever they say, the character models and environments are totally sweet. And when your main goal is to rip game resources, that's all that matters, baby! I shall turn back to the FFVII universe someday, provided Square-Enix doesn't give us the full-fledged FFVII sequal they hinted at in Dirge.

Anyone know if the script was a direct translation of the Japanese script, or did the translators totally screw up? The voice acting didn't seem too bad, but it invokes my nostalgia for the silent RPG era.

I don't really care about the voice acting too much...unless if it's choppy like in FFX. But I like English Crisis Core, because it has Crispin Freeman in it xD And probably a lot of other voice actors I know.

So far I've only died twice, but that's probably because I'm in normal mode.

George Newbern's voice for Sephiroth makes me gay. Not even going to deny it. I wish I had those vocals chords...

God. I don't care how many FF7 games they make if they feature Sephiroth and voice acting. Among video game characters, he is a god.

Artwork SNATCHED! Reminds me, I need to comb Deviantart again for new Sephiroth and Aeris fanarts; haven't seen that one before.

Played it, beat it. I wish Crisis Core's graphics were as good. But I'm glad it barley has any load times.
