Chrono Trigger MUSIC RE-MIX ( Made by Me, Myself, and I )
« on: March 09, 2007, 06:02:44 pm »
This was made from the very same MIDI that was used to make th Corridors of Time theme from the Chrono Resurection Remake.

I altered it a bit, not only Instumental, but also some minor rythms.  I also, doubled the length.

Anyways, Here is the file

Chrono Trigger - Corridors of Time
Chrono Trigger - Fighting

I will comment on your Chrono Trigger and Cross music as I've not heard the others often enough to judge.

Chrono Trigger: Corridors of Time:
It's a nice little reinstrumination of the music. I like how you make the harmony part float from speaker to speaker to sound like it's surrounding the listener(or it has that effect on my quality headset here, anyway.) The drums in the background of the original seem to be missing here though, and that results in a slightly less quality bit. I do like how you mixed in "Chrono Trigger" along with it, though at the point where you do it seems to clash a bit with the original harmony resulting in a not so fantastic sound. But still, a good remix.

Chrono Trigger: Battle One:
Again, a neat little reinstrumintation, but it seems like something's missing from it that would give it the extra bit it needs to be a great remix. But as it stands, it's good. It just needs a bit of work, perhaps on the harmony to make it not sound as abrasive as it does.

Chrono Cross: Time's Scar:
I like how you reworked it so a piano was used in place of the flute, but it seems a bit too...light, as if there's an element of harmony missing. Maybe I've been listening to too many remixes lately, but it just doesn't strike me the way the original does, and thus it loses out. It's an okay remix.

As I said in the post, this was not written by me, I just applied a re-instrumentation to it, the original was written by the music editor for Chrono Resurection

This was not originally written by me but the original one only had the melody, I had to add the rest, and Ill take this into consideration.

This one was found at a site, and is nothing more than a re-instrumentation

I am not the original author of any of these, but all of them have my personal touch added, and sound different than the original in one way or more.

Ok, I listened to the rest. They're all great, especially JENOVA and Corridors of Time.
