...

...whoa.

That Tifa model is totally fan-made I'm assuming (and very high-quality at that), but all the others could have been ripped from their respective games I think. AND THEY DIDN'T GET A C&D!

THIS MEANS THE AGE OF 3D FANWORKS HAS BEGUN!!

:lee: A NEW POWER IS RISING!!

EDIT: Ha! Yes, http://darkmatter.de-coder.net (beware, where Team Ninja models abound there's liable to be some NSFW content) was involved in the production -- that means these game resources were (probably) ripped, folks! This is amazing. This is brilliant! In doing this series of videos, fans have pushed the limits of what the holders of intellectual property will allow. But whether Square, Team Ninja, etc., would allow full fangames is still in question. The copyright holders may not even know the vid exists. In any case, this is truly something to watch from a legal aspect.

Vielen, vielen danke Kebrel!

I've seen the first one, but the part II was new to me. It was pretty freaking epic.

These are made by the same people who made Haloid, which was pretty amazing as well.

House Guest is so funny it makes me cry. You have to love Sinbad's comment about Hillary's lies about Bosnia:

Guys named "God", "Your Mom", "All Humans", and such, in COD4.

I can't help but giggle every time I get one of those.

cupn00dles, you'll have to name your character in COD4 "Nietzsche" if you keep that up.

Ha! Now I remember shouting the line "God is dead!" at a high school rendition of The Crucible. The line came out great due to a chest cold. Now that I think of it, I'd be willing to bet money that there's lots of schools that ban readings of The Crucible on the basis of this line alone, or maybe it's just Bowdlerized.

These Youtube Anime Music Videos are pure Springtime of Youth in digitized form:

The first two use clips from Princess Mononoke and the second set use clips from Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. The first pair set my expectations for Mononoke so high that I was actually disappointed when I watched the classic -- that's a testament to fan talent and not a pan of Mononoke by any means. I haven't seen Bloodlust yet.

What are the songs used in those AMVs though? Normally it's kind of difficult to find good AMVs of one-movie animes...I've seen both animes and liked them both...but I was kind of disappointed by Princess Mononoke's ending...but it was still great!

Princess Mononoke is one of my favorite animes movies ever. I have it up there with Terminator 2, Serenity, and Star Wars. For me the AMV didn't do it justice, although I normally don't like AMVs anyways so meh.

Anacalius, may I say...WTF?  I wonder if there's a lolcats pic with that comment anywhere...

V, the songs on the vids are as follows in order, if memory serves:
1.) Ghost Woman and the Hunter, by Lacuna Coil (Thanks Anacalius for name correction)
2.) Mummer's Dance, by Loreena McKennit
3.) Moonlight Shadow, by a German group that escapes my memory at the moment. That song was a cover of one done in the 1970s or so, maybe by the guy who did the Exorcist music (Tubular Bells). This cover of Moonlight Shadow is way preferable to the original IMHO.
4.) Away From Me, by Evanescence.

It's "The Ghost Woman and the Hunter", just so you know. =P

I love the fact that my best friend just read a portion of this book I'm writing out loud to his girlfriend.

What makes it even more lovable is the fact that he didn't know it was a sex scene. :P :D :P :D

OMFG I WAS LAUGHING SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD!

Maybe. Another funny thing is that I'm working on it in school. :P
