Heh heh, here the CW shows Farscape episodes at 1am on Mondays while FOX shows Stargate SG1 episodes (it shows Atlantis at 12am)...and the CW only just recently must have acquired the first season or something because before they used to show much later (I think) episodes...they also used to show two episodes in a row...but then they got other stupid shows like 24 and that one stupid cop show about people who go missing or whatever...God I hate cop shows (except maybe Reno 911!, which I'm glad my local FOX channel is picking up).

Hooray for syndication!!! I'll give some love to that.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and NCIS, I love that show too.

After seeing ZeaLitY's emo sad "the world" post in the Stuff You Hate thread, I couldn't help but bump this thread...I even have something to contribute! Huzzah for relevant thread necromancy!

Stuff I Love: This awesome Child Rearing Solution I found while playing (emu, mind u) Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates (crazy long FF title, eh?)...

^_^

BTW, the game's far worth emulating at the least. Great lil action/adventure RPG...maybe a lil too much of a Zelda clone...but for the FF series & Square, I don't think that's such a bad thing this time...I never played the original FFCC though, so I don't really know if I'm missing out on anything yet...doesn't seem like it really...*shrugs* Check it out.

no$gba...as far as I can tell from looking around, it's the best and I haven't had any problems w/it...though I still use VBA for GBA games and only have a handful of DS ROMs.

well, after that post V, I decided to update myself on the currrent state of emulation....and wow, they have the PS2 in working order.  Safe to say I am now catching up on PS2 games that I haven't had a chance to play.  Namely Disgaea, FFXII, and a relatively short list of others...

So, in relation to this topic.  I love emulation.

I love not incriminating myself by publically admitting to legally dubious activities ;)

And free time. Nothing better than just sitting around, sippin on some Jamba and Juice, and pondering the universe.

EDIT: Oh, and just found out that Potter is now being used on University Campus'. Makes me feel like there is hope for English Departments around the world, that they might start addressing relevent texts and discard crap like the Crying of Lot 49 (though it does do a wonderful job of replicating an acid trip, or so I am told).

I didn't say anything about downloading illegal roms.  Because that is just wrong...and I have all the games, my ps2 just broke and I haven't the money to fix it.  Obviously.  Isn't that why people emulate?   8)

I've decided that I shall brave the horrors of Goofy and Donald Duck because her awesomeness outshines whate'er awkwardness I'd feel playing a Disney-centric game. Especially if it's possible to hack the Final Fantasy VII characters into playable characters. I don't think the second video is a normal gameplay scenario, so possibilities abound.
