Microwave-cooked bacon is delicious, quick, and easy. Just sandwich it between a couple of paper towels to minimize grease splatter! It's not quite as crispy as stove fried bacon, but it's more soft and chewy, like it just came off the holiday ham. Perfect for the lazy hungry person! The only downside is you don't get to keep the grease for later dishes. Bacon eggs, I miss thee so...

I love my current roommate! Well, not just because she's my wife, but also because of the lack of bacon!

Back in college my apartment smelled like bacon 24/7. At least one roommate would have bacon every day, usually both would. I liked bacon, I still do. Just... it is very nice to not have the smell permeating everything.

Mind you, their eating of bacon was another oddity in themselves. One of them was very lazy and impatient, so he wouldn't always microwave the bacon thoroughly. Seeing someone slurp bacon like wet noodles is not pleasant.

My current roomie is much more couth, lovely to look at, and bacon free.

I love this picture. I wish he were redeemable, since it's kind of fun thinking of him in the 70s, in a brown suit while courting political and business interests as corporate America rides forward on the laurels of manufacturing, with Japan looming overseas ready to strike with operational effectiveness. CHiPs is on TV, disco is on the coasts, and out here in middle America, Cheney's in a bumper car and enjoying the financial fruit he was promised.
