I quite like a good lie-in myself. During the summer, an average wake up time for me would be 2:00PM... Good times...

I just had the best bacon ever. J's friend is a really good cook (and that was really good bacon).

Yeah, that was really good bacon. And I'm not really even a fan of bacon (I like my pig in the "ham" variety). I hope that friend opens a restaurant! He has talent. It's just too bad I couldn't make cake. I actually also had to miss that ice cream too!

I stole some ice cream before I left!  :D

I'll pass along your comments to Abhra. He'll be high as pie in the sky.

You know what I love? When I'm this sick, I love being able to stay at home, rather than go to work in some brutal coal mine or face losing my job and dying of poverty (or illness), and having the luxury of hanging out in a soft, warm bed--maybe a little too warm what with my massive fever--and being able to afford some apple juice, bananas, and other simplicities that'll make the next few days a little less horrible.

DVD extras. The only reason not to download.

There's ways to get those from downloads...>_> And 1/2 of all DVD extras suck.

The "north"-west coast of the U.S. There are few places on the continent so sublime. As I need water, as I need food, so too do I need beauty such as that.

I just had the best bacon ever. J's friend is a really good cook (and that was really good bacon).

Try Bacon Salt. It's kosher.
Note, I'm far too afraid to try it myself, so I can't comment as to its quality.

Here is the stuff in question, from the website of the same shop where we got it:

http://www.salumicuredmeats.com/products/guanciale.htm

If you're ever in Seattle, go here, brave the long line, and order a lamb prosciutto sandwich...or just a big old hunk of lamb prosciutto. =D

Ah, are you in a 6th Form university or just the secondary school variety, pingu?

After 6 years of half-hearted searching, I finally have the symbols on Rock Lee's ankle weights:

根性

They'll make a fine addition to 熱血.

(The first means willpower or guts. The second means hot blood or passion.)
