Well as I obscurely implied in my last post, I love "Burguesa Burger." It is a new restaurant that, unless the quality slips, will become on par with my love of In&Out. They serve authentic Mexican hamburgers. If one is willing to ignore the conundrum of “authentic Mexican hamburgers,” they are terribly tasty (easily superior to standard fast-food hamburgers; In&Out being excluded). They presentation isn't the best, but Chick-Fil-A is the only fast food place I've ever found that has good presentation. However, the meat patties seem to be very high quality. And you can get avocados on it.

The beverages are also interesting. They reject "the devil," or "high fructose corn syrup" as it is usually called, and instead only use cane sugar. If you happen to find regular soda too sweet, these will definitely be that way, however. But they lack the usual fair: there is no diet coke, DP, Mt. Dew, Sprite, etc. They have Coke (with the afore mentioned sugar, so sometimes I've heard this called Mexican Coke), Lemon, and I think Lime flavored soda.

And they have fortune tacos. Why fortune tacos, I have no idea, but they're fun and tasty. Like fortune cookies, these have little non-fortune related messages in them, both in English and Spanish. Best of all, the cookie-taco-thingy tastes a lot like churro batter. Well, that is second best I guess. The best part is that they fortune tacos come with any hamburger.

The worst part is that it currently only has one location. Dallas. Despite the delicious food that can be found in Dallas, I generally recommend that people avoid the city whenever humanly possible. But if you can't and you need some fast food, Burguesa's well worth a try.

Dallas is the root of all evil!  Get some Five Guys if ya can, beats In and Out in my opinion.

i love malted milk balls. something about them is just perfect. the way the milk stuff melts in your mouth, the sweetness of the chocolate, and the feeling of joy as you take the last handful into your fort of pillows and thrill of defending those sweet glorious balls of nostalgia from your siblings with a hair brush and air freshener and a spare pillow.
life is good.

I love my Rosie dog, she is retardedly smart. She pretends to get stuck under the daybed for attention by crawling so her head and front legs are covered, then whines and whines and whines until someone comes to "rescue" her by tapping her on the back to remind her that she can back out.
I also love run-on sentences.

I gotta agree with the malted milk balls comment. Indeed, I love that malty flavor in general.

I also love that it rained today and was cloudy all day. Capital!

Yes! The rain was awesome. I got to walk home from school when it was just misting a little, like little wet kisses everywhere (ugh I'm cheesy).
I walked to the store around five to get some sodas and it was still misting just a little, but by the time I started home it was raining sideways! About damn time. Even the dead, brown grass looks livelier in the rain. And that smell that arises just after a fresh rain is the best thing in the world :1999

Also, I love Mexican Coca Cola. They come in glass bottles and have real sugar!

I went and made myself a malted chocolate Ovaltine. Good old malt...you make the world a better place.

Ah, those drizzly days of August. Got my malt. Got my rain. Got my barbecued chicken sandwiches for dinner (don't tell Shee). Got my arcologies in SimCity 2000 earlier today. I could really get used to this whole "summer" thing...

I think nyagus.gif from Maggiekarp's ravatar is the greatest avatar ever (sorry Thought, Pancakes doesn't cut it anymore). I know I recognize that artist, he/she had a minidoujin on Hannya's page. Anyone have a link to the artists own site?

I gotta admit I am a sunshine-all-the-time kinda guy...though this severe lack of rain has been a bit much even for my tastes.  Lord J you made me smile so wide with your comments.  One time I actually ate a chicken sandwich while watching over the little buggers.  It felt.....wrong...

But... but... Pancakes! Obviously it needs a chibi Duo, then it will be irresistable once more!

Though more seriously, I'm diggin’ my current avatar quite a bit. I doubt I'll be changing it anytime soon. Someday, I even hope to own a replica of that statue.

As for Loves... I love Tootsie Rolls. Yeah, they look like poo and taste absolutely nothing like anything found in the natural world, but they were a childhood favorite and so now they're a nostalgia favorite.

Hmmm... tastes like memories.

Just curious, but is that a bust of Janus, the two faced god? If so, you are still awesome (but not quite as awesome as nyagus).

Yes, but it isn't just a bust of Janus, it is also a bust of Thucydides and Herodotus, the gods of history (as it were).

I can't remember who said that...but I love doggies, and OHMYEFFINGGOD WHAT THE HELL IS THAT NEW EMOTICON THING?
