Been teaching my roomie some basic stuff on the drums...could've EASILY gone in the frustration thread, but it was cool to be teaching someone who wanted to learn, not just beat the shit out of the drums.  He's made progress, and it's scary to see him doing all the same things I was doing when I was learning.

Also, have an audition Friday for the television show "1000 Ways To Die".  Booya!

...the people who audition do survive, right?

Ah, I guess I have to state my love for something as the price of making that sarcastic comment. I love black coffee. I have half a mind to compose an ode to it.

I love the West Hemisphere...the happenin'est hemisphere this side of Greenwich! I also love homemade spaghetti sauce, kona coffee, thin mints, and spiders. Spiders may be scary, but they eat lots of pesky bugs. Me and the spiders around here have negotiated a Treaty. It mostly works.

I love Metroid! Especially the second and third games, for GB and SNES. The ambiance, the mystique, the solitude...the metroids!! In my opinion, the transition to FPS and the corny storyline in Fusion were ugly blotches of unwanted commentary upon a beautiful premise of oppressive minimalism.

Yes...I've been listening to the Super Metroid soundtrack.

I love the ideas in my head

I'm frustrated that whatever route I take, the ideas will be hard to put down into reality without ruining the excitement of them.

I love how i'm turning 19 next month, and I have yet to even be pulled over by a cop.

TAKE THAT, YOU IRRESPONSIBLE TEENAGE DRIVERS!

(That was a general statement, not specifically pointed at anyone.)

Sounds like something Alvin Maker would do.

Greenery.

Usually it seems like I live in a wasteland; there are few plants and the ones that are around tend to look sickly. But I moved not that long ago to a 3rd floor apartment that looked out into several trees. It's sort of like living in a tree house... only not. Wake up in the morning and BAM, greenery outside my window. It makes me feel like I'm somewhere civilized.

Oh, and the Ballad of Serenity. Good song.

Lord J - I'm cooking my special tasty pasta sauce today!  Not exactly "homemade" but not from a jar, either.  Perhaps one day I'll make an instructional video.  And the music in Brinstar fro Super Metroid rocks my socks off.

Roomie's been making TONS of progress on the drums.  I'm proud! :D

It is so much as something I love but I find interesting the new Harry Potter movie, I just saw it. In and of its self it was entertaining so it did its job as a movie. Still the fact that it is a 6 later to be 8 movie arc and hasn't felt completely force is quiet an impressive thing really. Not to say there are without there flaw but they all have been entertaining.

Something I do love about it though, the actress who plays Ginny(Bonnie Wright) I thought was fantastic since the first movie. When I was young it was fine now she's just jail bait.... :( never mind she's 18.

You seem so sad that she's legal...
