He does need a 'man room', but his apartment is itsy bitsy. He could keep it in his bedroom, but then he couldn't touch himself while he played WoW!

it is always the vice of people, no matter the location, to hate their surroundings. But moving doesn't help that. Sure, at first you love it because it's new and exciting, but once you get used to it, you'll want to be somewhere else. Until you're able to love life in it's entirety, you won't be able to live anywhere without having that happen.

I know it's long past this post, but I can honestly say I love where I live and always have. Though apparently I'm the only one who feels that way since basically everyone I know has wanted to move for years lol.

well, there are exceptions to every rule, and I was generalizing, which I try to catch myself before hand on so I can say most people instead of including everyone. I'm perfectly happy where I am, as well.

The point of the urban SUV is to insulate the driver from the driving experience. It's despicable on principle, and in practice.

If you need a truck, get a truck. If not, don't. But let's dispense with the fiction that they are acceptable on road commuter cars for as much as half of a city's population.

I love porn. Keeps me happy AND busy.

Not to totally derail the topic, but are Porn magazines dead? I don't really see the purpose of them...what with the internet and all. Back in my youth finding one of these was like finding the holy grail. Now all it takes is a nice search engine...you kids these days have it easy!

I'm pretty sure I heard that Playboy (stock?) was losing money or something...

Yeah, I meant the coffee one, not the nightmare one.
I don't think I saw that picture as your avatar but I have a feeling I know what you're talking about.

I also love my Akira avy...^_^

NO. Thank god. I am NOT Uwe Boll.

Besides, the picture I posted ages ago with the lightsaber was me.

It will be a sad, sad day when Hugh Heffner dies. My girlfriend was looking at a Playboy magazine I have the other day, and she asks me this question:

"Why do guys think it's hot when girls degrade themselves like this? The world is not a better place because of porn."

To which I responded:

"The world is a pretty shitty place already. The fact that there are chicks that are willing and able to get naked for the enjoyment of men everywhere makes me think that that makes the world a slightly better place to live in. Because it makes people happy, you know. I mean hell, for all you know there could be a guy out there right now that is thinking about going to his work and shooting up everybody. But then he looks up some porn on the internet, gets his jollies off, and changes his mind. Porn saves lives. I'm sure it's not the first time either. The world is most definitely a better place because of porn."

....I don't get what she means by degrading ones self in that manner. I'm sure that a lot of the girls who sign up to be a part of those magazines and movies have no sense of degradation. They're enjoying themselves and having fun and getting some. To sit there and think that all people have the same mind frame is ignorant. Not to diss on your girl at all, mate. I'm sure she is quite the brilliant person, so please do not confuse me saying she's ignorant with me saying she's stupid. They are two very different words.

Mostly, I find that when people put other people down they secretly wish that they themselves had the courage to do something similar.

Not saying there aren't girls in the business who don't think highly enough of themselves. After all,

"it takes a lot of drunk daddies missing a lot of dance recitals before you decide to blow a goat on the internet for 50 dollars, and if that disappears, where does it leave me on a friday night with my high speed connection?" - Lazyboy, Underwear Goes Inside the Pants

No offense taken, because I agree with you. She's very woman empoweringy or whatever. I say, what's more empowering than being beautiful and having millions of guys fantasize about you all the time? All the while you are taking their money. Same goes for strippers. A friend of mine from high school is a stripper now. She spends all her money on coke though. Probably so she can stay up all night stripping. To get more money to spend on coke I'm sure. It's a vicious cycle. But at least she's hot.

I secretly think my gf's main problem with it is that she doesn't like me looking at it and jerking it to hot porn chicks. To which I would respond "would you rather me just cheat on you in real life?". But that would probably get me slapped.

C.S. Lewis discussed this in the first chapter of Mere Christianity.  Not anything related to religion (so much), but he discusses the varying vantage point on morality and the expectations that we have as humans.  What one may view as one's vice may in fact, to another, be a form of salvation.  Plus, we all have these false, pretentious, and hypocritical "inner-man" forms of self-proclaimed morality.

The example he used was, "Country A makes a treaty with Country B.  Country B then breaks the treaty after some time, saying that the treaty was unfair.  Country A and Country B then make a new treaty, only for Country A to break the treaty claiming it as unfair.  Despite the fact that Country B had already done the exact same thing, they immediately get pissed because the "fair" treaty was broken."  It's all relative.

You could take the probably out of there and it would still remain a true statement.
