A new ending discovered (?)
« on: January 18, 2007, 09:59:42 pm »
Guys, I've been playing CT a LOOOONNNG time, and I've never seen this one before.  I received it after using some PAR codes to fight Lavos with Magus only.

Have any of you seen it before?

How can you play as Magus solo? I know of no part in the game where he is alone.

I can understand maybe a Chrono only feat, but Magus? Seems Sketchy to me, but thats my opinion.

As I said, it was by using some PAR codes that I achieved this.  There's no way to do it normally in the game.

For that reason, this couldn't be considered a "true" ending (unless there's some legitimate way I'm not aware of by which a person might get this ending).

It's a normal ending: "Reunion". You get if you kill Lavos when Crono is dead.

It's pretty close to the "Reunion" ending, but I've never seen this variation before.  I take it you have?

Aww, that's too bad.  And here I thought I had something kind of cool.  8)

There's nothing special in that video except Magus not being at the End of Time scene where they go back to their own times (while he appears at the Moonlight Fair in the video).

There's also some differences if you destroyed the Epoch or not (by crashing it into Lavos)  That may explain why you didn't see that variation of the ending before.
