Made this as a side project for kicks.
I would love to know what you all thought of it.

Robo's so...shiny...It's like he stepped off the set (the imaginary, CGI set) of one of them new Star Wars movies...I mean, I'm sure Lucca polished him occasionally, but that seems excessive! Oh, and what's his back look like? I remember him having more...leather parts too, right? Like some part that hung down from his midsection sorta? I'm not complaining or anything, it looks great, just pointing random little things out!

It looks great. The head and the cylinder thingy in the back might be a bit big compared to the official Robo. And as pointed just above, the leather armor parts (which makes him look like a Roman legionary... sort of) is missing. Overall, it's very nice though.

Yea I guess I wasn't quite correct when i said it was complete. There is a leather-like cloth thing hanging around his neck aand waste, and some bolts are not present in his upper arm that are in his picture. The back cylinder should e about the right scale, although I only had that one diagonal view picture to work with when i modelled, so it was mostly blind modelling.

Thanks for all your comments!

As for his shinyness, just pretend he got an extra polish for some special occaison.

Fantastic! It looks like a resin figurine model.

Wow thanks a lot for the comments and compliments guys. Here is a little spin around gif. Shows you that it isn'y complete but gives you multiple views. This may take a min to load.

I had decided to pretty much not finish this model but now I think I'll put in all the rest of the details and rig him for some animation.
