Orlha and Tia
« on: June 18, 2005, 04:25:02 pm »
After playing through this part of the script, it seems that...

1. Orlha and Tia were not duplicated, but rather thrown to either dimension.
2. There was only one original girl, who believed she had a sister after the split.

Tia is in Another World for some reason, why Orlha's in Home. Somehow, their Blue Brooch broke and they were separated across the dimensions. For reasons unknown, Tia fell unconscious and ill for no apparent reason (I blame time).

Anyway, this is quite a little mystery that hasn't been unraveled. The game makes a lot of weird dialogue concerning them; really enigmatic.

Hmm, odd indeed. I really can't find a reason as to why the two weren't duplicated during the Split, but rather the complete opposide happaned, they were split up. Hmm, maybe the Brooch has magical powers?

I know this post is just as redundant, but I have to ask:

Then...why did you post here?

edit: I'm not going to make a new post to forgive you, if that's what you're after so you can thank me!    :P

Doesn't it make a lot more sense to say that Orlha and Tia are identical twins, and in each dimension one of them died shortly after the split (with Tia dying in Another and Orlha dying in Home)?

Ris's answer works. And the opposite twin might've been buried with one half of the brooch, maybe?

But Orlha and Tia aren't that old. The fact is that they feel that they have a sister somewhere who they've never met, not that they don't remember a sister.

I always thought that the split had decided wich one had lived or died, sort of.

Age doesn't matter. One could've died at birth, and they could be playing on the alleged psychic bond between twins.

The death would have to have taken place after 1010, so when they were 13 or older, but Orlha mentions that she was separated from Tia at birth, so they still would never have met one another.

Perhaps then the split caused one of them to return to Guldove?
