If it ever comes up for discussion among the management, I'm going to vote against it. The Compendium isn't a proper place for chat, and most chat traffic would come at the expense of our forums.

Also, what I think about this is that a chat box/room would draw conversations away from the Chrono series, and the General Discussion section is enough for that.

Chat boxes are only good for forums that don't have a lot happening topic wise or don't have a lot of members.

The Compendium is neither.

There is always IRC for chatting. =P It's easier than setting up your own server.
