Man, writing a featured article is a labor of art, like shaping a sculpture or writing a poem. It involves such a degree of research, analysis, arrangement, and other types of manipulating thought into expressive, coherent presentations of facts...and it requires a scrutinizing handle of language, so that prose may be most succinctly conveyed; so that you may maximize the quality of information while minimizing the quantity of words. What an experience. The end result is that once a featured article is on the main page, you have shared something you have a passion for with thousands of people on one of the top-ten most popular websites.

That said, I invite ye Mighty to give the thing a read and correct any awkward or bad sentences / grammar / tense flubs.

I agree with the poster who wrote the comment that Star Trek: The Wrath of Sulu ought to be named...

Star Trek: Fire!

The storyline is pretty simple: Spock disses Sulu, and the Enterprise and Excelsior get into a "fire"fight. Then the Klingons come along to thicken the plot.

"Are we firing torpedoes?!"

That was, in a word, dumb. It's one of those stupid videos that takes a few seconds of footage and repeats it ad infinitum. Admittedly this didn't do it anywhere near as bad as, say, that Vegeta video, but still...it was dumb. The movie itself wasn't all that much better...definitely suited to the Rifftrax it was given.

So did I, but I think I was laughing more at the video itself than its contents.

Oh hell...it was funny. Not as amusing as I would have liked though. I think what threw me off was the odd changes in music due to the clips...if they could have removed the music and/or added their own, it would have been much better.
