Kudos for Victoria's Secret's use of skin-cancer honeys with blue contact lenses and grotesque lip implants. The big "PUSH EM TOGETHER 2 MAKE EM LOOK BIGGER / HOTTER" sell in the advertisement fits with the model's artifice.

The best part of that ad was that CNN had it on their webpage.

The second best part is that the woman looks ill in her attempts to look alluring.

Looks like she caught whiff of a nasty fart.

SA did the idiot variety of Japanophiles (the ultra "JAPANESE CULTURE IS THE BEST KAWAII :) :) :) ones) and torrent sites this Sunday. No, I'm not insulting interest in Japan; rather...well I'll say it like this. Fact: the guy who wrote Gaijin-Smash knows more about Japan and speaks the language better than any of these people, and in the grand scheme of the universe, he's pretty much Miles Davis compared to Japanophiles' Emo Phillips.

http://www.somethingawful.com/d/weekend-web/bittorrent-japan-maddox.php?page=5

Seriously, those Japanophiles make me feel guilty to import anything. I bought two CD a few days, my first overseas purchase in two years, and I couldn't help but feel like I had to hide the fact. But torrent sites came in a close second for pure stupidity.

The Weekend Web makes me sad for humanity and the English language.

Ouch. The movie is a masterpiece; it's just classic Miami Vice nuts who drag the opinion of it down.

This is inspiring. Though there are very serious issues with the overarching principles and policies of the scouting program, its functional merits are undeniable at this level. One can experience a wide range of life through the program.

I'm not so hip to the entire thing about him wanting to help those in the third world, though. I mean, jeez. But I guess it's easier than rewriting the entire legislation, governance, and tone of our labyrinthian health care industry...

You can't fault the Boy Scout program for their religious issues...that only started about twenty five or so years ago when the Mormon Church became the primary funding source for the Boy Scouts. Prior to that they were free and accepting of gays and athiests across the nation with no problem.

As for a new link:

I want you all to suffer as I have suffered at the hands of this monstrosity.

Die, PS3. Die.
May I ask why? The PS3 only costs so much because of the blue laser used for the Blue-ray, and that laser is extremely expensive compared to traditional red lasers. Of course, it's also far superior.

For the record, I own none of the new generation consoles.

Neither do I.

I've always been a shameless Nintendo lover. The PS and PS2 gave us some great games, but it's always been my secret wish to have Final Fantasy and the rest return to Nintendo.

Of course, that probably won't happen with the Wii...

Gasp! Our Dear Leader is a console fanboy?!

This is true lunacy!

Nah, seriously though, I can understand where you're coming from. I've been a Playstation fan for quite some time, mainly because it's the only console generation I've ever bought. To be honest, though, I'm not exactly a console fanboy so much as I tend to be anti-XBox and 360, mainly because anything worth playing on them is also playable on my enormously powerful PC.
