As much as I enjoy Oyster, I prefer Cybershell's colorful commentary(when he does make an LP) and Raar's witty voice.

ProtonJon is still my all-time favorite, however.

I've never watched any of Cybershell's stuff, I should...

Start at Sonic 1 for the full effect. Viddler is your best bet to watching them BTW, and Gamevee doesn't work anymore.

Speaking of LPers...

Because of my ban to my Mac, I realized how well Mother 3 would work. I can actually use some good music, and Imovie won't quit on me all the time. Even though I realized not many people really care, I'm more doing it for myself, so I'll continue soon, for those of you who DO care...

This article simultaneously both reaffirmed and hugely lowered my faith in humanity.

"Animal Cruelty Laws Among Fastest Growing"

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29180079/

Here's a notable WTF? excerpt:

Quote
At a Montana campsite, Gunner, a chocolate lab, was killed by a camper who cut off the dog's head with a chain saw and threw it at the owners.

Russell Howald, 30, was sentenced to the maximum — two years.

What. The. Fuck:shock:

Two years later he will mysteriously die in a chainsaw related accident hopefully, or get to be the prison bitch for two years...

I can't believe he only got two years for that.

Tree man.
According to the last documentary, he got the disease by falling and scraping his knee. Almost makes me scared to go outside. We'll all be turned into were-trees!

Yes, but it was also because he had a rare deficiency. More likely than not, Zephira, if you go outside and scrape your knee, you won't be turned into part tree.

For my fellow Utena freaks.

I know, but it's still a frightening disease. My immune system sucks, but thankfully not that much.
Still, there are some pretty weird diseases out there. Nature is scarier than anything Lovecraft can throw at us.

Actually, I'm so pessimistic about the state of animal welfare laws since I see inhumane treatment of animals almost on a daily basis that my first reaction to that was surprise that he was even prosecuted for it. What a sick, cruel fucker.

That is one of the coolest things I have ever seen in my entire life. I mean damn, I feel for the guy - but what an astonishing medical condition. Hopefully the treatment works.

Personally, I tap my kitty's paws when she's scratching something she shouldn't be scratching, but... I'd never cut her head off with a chainsaw and throw it at my mom. Things like that are simply gross and show a lack of understanding. I grew up with animals in the house. We used to breed Shar-pei, but then we took in a rottie and a bulldog. Then I got a fish. In my foster homes we had pets (cats, cats and dogs and a bird, I think a dog). And now we have cats.

Ugh.

This just seemed... weird.
