I was messing around with darken so that you could use it for Zeal here's a little trick.

In object 00's start up idle put:   Brighten(7, 1F, 15.938), this'll make the room load black
Now in a lter object you can call some object function, I did object00 arbitrary 1

In there put Darken(23), Pause (.933), and finally brighten (0, 0, 0).

It's not perfect but this sort of makes the room load dark and then their eyes adjust.  If you don't use the brighten's the room loads completly lit up and slowly turns dark.  I attached a pic of what it looks like.
