What I'm gunna do Next

No real updates coming out of here so just so you know here's the next chapter unless someone speaks up

Talking to Glenn in the castle will take you to the San Dorino Plains
Bunch of Battles takes place as the  move forward, eventually they see that the mystics they are fighting are coming out of a hole in the middle of the plain
Team jumps in the hole and fight through a long underground tunnel, eventually getting to the leader of the mystics (that guy magus knew)
Fight him but he says it's to late
One of Glenn's Soldiers come and says there's an uprising at San Dorino Inn
Go to the Inn and humans are fighting some innocent Mystics
Glenn must choose between siding with mystics or siding with humans

So, is Glenn going to revert to his Frog form at some point? This would be rather... bad, but we can't make human Glenn playable either so we're forced...

I'm probably gunna replace all the "Glenn's" with Frogs.........(sigh).

You could make it to where he changes into a frog to fight, but he's human during dialogue sequences.

that'll be realllllly hard to do unless you mean changing the non battle frog sprites to glenn.  We'd have to find a way to keep only two people in the party at a time, and have the NPC glenn following them all the time and then every battle add frog to the party and make the NPC dissapear etc.

Changing the frog sprites to glenn wouldn't work out so good, Glenn would be a midget.

and when and NPC follows the characters it generally doesn't look right.

Currently it's best as is, waiting for the glenn sprites to be finished, and then putting them in.
It may seem odd at some dialogue points, but it'd be wise to have it be Glenn rather then frog in the dialogues, you don't neccessarily want to go back and end up missing one. Also it's a reminder that Glenn will be playable sometime in the future. It may be very hard to imagine, since this hasn't been accomplished before . But right now we're taking the appropriate course of action.

This topic was created back in May. My work on sprite assembly didn't start (or was it revealed?) until mid-June. So it's understandable that they concluded that playable Glenn was an impossibility (as well as Schala.)

Maybe we should just delete the thread and redo it.  Cause it seems to much out of date.
