It was pretty much confirmed by others on the board that HOME's Lynx was allied with Porre only to use their resources to get ahold of the Frozen Flame and all that jazz.

But how would Porre help in getting hold of the Frozen Flame?

Well, the fact is that Porre itself is looking for the flame, since they heard rumours of it being in El Nido. Then there's Viper who has the Dragons Tear. Lynx takes it off him in one world, and uses him in the other to go to the Dead Sea with. At the same time, this allows Porre to take over, which may have been intended all along.

As for Lynx's meeting, they already know about the split, so it'd be like do this do that. Or maybe a merger O.o

Lynx was in existance before the split.  When the split happend, there was now a Lynx in both Home and Another.  Lynx is controlled by FATE, so there is a very strong likely hood that their minds are the same, since FATE controls both of them.

I don't seem to think that FATE controls Lynx anymore, since FATE intergrated itself into Lynx, and Lynx became it's own personality, only wanting to unlock the flame at any cost. He is not following any of the rules that Belthasar set into FATE, hence Lynx has his own agenda, seen in The Blackened FATE ending.

And where, exactly, did you get that?

The game makes it pretty clear that FATE has gone corrupt, and besides the fact that Lynx can see inside of FATE and has his own conciousness and motives kind of shows that him and FATE only have a link, but they're seperate.

Lynx was nothing more than an avatar of FATE.  We don't know whether Lynx had some sort of constant uplink, or operated on a set of instuctions, but it was basically FATE's body.  Miguel had his own mind; Wazuki lost his.

Grey's post summed up my thoughts.  The game makes it pretty clear that Lynx is FATE's avatar as well.  It never implies that Lynx is anything other than that at any point.

Meh.

FATE - Does not go outside of El Nido and does stop people from going to the mainland.
Lynx - Actually goes to the mainland, and lures Porre down to El Nido, besides the fact that he befriended Porre enough to get a "Sir Lynx" position.

Yes...  Lynx is FATE's Avatar.  That means Lynx is basically FATE on legs.
