I'm not going to post this in the Retranslation forum, since those guys aren't slave labor and already have volunteered for something else. But in case anyone else with spare time is floating around...

SilentMartyr is currently completing scans of Missing Piece sketches. Among these is the special Magus concept art page, which depicts the development of Magus before he was changed to Guile. SM's going to rescan this page for perfect alignment, so this link might change, but at the moment, here is the URL for the scan. Look at the uppermost box in Magus's section. That has got to be Janus.

Experience has taught me that the captions probably read something simple like "Janus was going to make a cameo" -- nothing earth shattering. Nonetheless, if someone wants to take a stab at turning this to English, feel free.

Whoops, this has already been translated. It was Janus, but they scrapped the idea since it'd cause continuity problems.
