During a thunderstorm, you use the cardboard to shield yourself from the rain.
Unfortunately, you have an inferior grade cardboard imported from china. It disintegrates, leaving you unshielded in the rain.
Searching for some shelter, you spy a nearby tree, presuming to find some shelter under it, you hurry over.
As the thunder and lightning crashes, and the squirrels chitter frightenedly around you, a rabid dog comes up out of the darkness.
He jumps at you, going for the throat...
At the last second, lightning strikes the tree you are next to, saving you from the dog. Your ears are ringing, your hair looks positively einsteinian, the tree is on fire, but you are ok and the dog runs away. You think of what a close thing that was and, relieved, start to run for home. You hear something creaking and turn around to see half of the tree falling towards you.
It's too late to run, and you die.
I wish I had an army of rabid dogs with control over lighting under my control.
