Sprite replacement for newbies?

I have most of the tools needed, Temporal Flux, Tile Molester, SNESPal, the works.  I got 2 character portraits replaced, but now I'm wondering about remaking the sprites.

But I have a few questions:

How do I edit the sprites while they're jumbled up?  or do I have to put them together to edit them?
where are the hex pointers for the main characters(Unheadered)?

If there is something I'm missing, lemme know.  :mrgreen:

Staticman, any sprite address you happen to be looking for in an unheadered ROM can be found here:

We're going to get a (hopefully) easy-to-understand and comprehensive sprite insertion tutorial sometime this June, but until then, you'll need to know some sprite assembly. In the meantime, you can take a look at our latest discussion on sprite assembly here:
