I can't express how greatful I am that they've now included the Daily Planet and, yeay of all yeays, Brainiac! Or...at least...I'm pretty sure that's who it is...I mean, who else could it be?

I was really iffy about all that freakin Zod talk though...But they've more than made up for it in my eyes.

I don't like Smallville. For whatever reason, it rubs me the wrong way. I tried watching it, several times, cuz so many people love it. I just...don't see it. Maybe I'm just not a Superman fan anymore. Maybe I don't like the idea of looking at Superman in his teeny-bopper years and showing all the high school drama he had to go through...not as side of Superman I was ever interested in or cared about, especially since none of it mattered by the time he was in Metropolis and at the Daily Planet for the rest of his career.

Yeah, I wasn't (am not) a Superman fan at all really...Just a comics dork in general...I love all the little connections it has to the comics and stuff w/o actually being part of any real comics continuity...

I also don't focus much on the high school drama part (he's in college now! whoopty doo, right?)...as it's just so far less than shows like One Tree Hill or The OC...Plus, there are actually good actors in Smallville (well...mostly the older cast...but w/e...)! And I love the art direction of the series...always have...What can I say? I get off on great lighting...

In Australia, There's a quirky science show called Brainiac. Luckily, it's not as bad as Australia's Brainiest Kids, who are actually retardedly dumb.

I feel that the show gives you his life beifre he had to save people every 10 minutes, when he had to worry more about school then anything else.

Australias Brainiest kids does suck, but its funny when that weiner kid cried. Plus, truly, I am smarter then ALL of them. Some kid chose Napleon for his specialty subject, and didnt even know where he was born. Some other girl chose dancing, and luckily she didnt make it.

I got turned off when I tuned into the first season (4?) years ago...it just seemed like a pop-dramatization of superman's teenage awkward years, which nobody cares about.

Of course, I've *only* seen the first few episodes, so it could be completely different by now. That was just my first impression.
