Character data is read in ram now so I can control everything by in game events.

Oooh. Do tell more. I always thought it'd nice to edit stuff hex-wise temporary through Events.

Wouldn't you be able to do a ROM comparison by hexadecimal and see what the changes are and just isolate those out?

Also good news I'm almost at my s*** together so I can actually hopefully get internet and get back online and finalize the polishing touches to the Chrono trigger plus final as well as make a few final tutorial videos at some point ( in the next dimension).

Thanks! I've been developing the project and story for years. Finally decided to work on it and publish. I found rpg maker to be convenient and after years of experience I figured out ways to match CT gameplay that I haven't seen anyone else do. Maybe someone has out there. No full release yet, but there's a lot more done that I will be sharing. Follow the journey and creative process with me on my YT and Patreon if you like.

Thanks! It hasn't really come that far lol. RPG Maker 2003 is unique for its battle system layout. It took me a long time and a lot of trial and error to gradually figure out tricks to replicate CT style. I use screenshots for battle backdrops, a lot of sprite programming and editing for battle animation, etc. I haven't seen anyone else try some of these methods before. I even figured out a way to incorporate Dual Tech attacks! I will be making a Demo video and a Tutorial video soon.
