Dream Devourer Difficulty

I'm not trying to brag, because I'm not sure if it was because I might've been overleveled or what. My party was Crono, Frog, and Magus. I easily defeated the Dream Devourer. Crono and Frog were level 62, and Magus was level 60. Was I overleveled, or did I get lucky?

I think I was around the same level when I beat the boss -- it was during a normal, non-NG+ play through. I did find it tougher than most Chrono Trigger bosses though, if not the toughest.

It might've been my equipment, then.
Crono had Rainbow, Master's Crown, Moonbeam Armor, and a Wrath Band.
Frog had Masamune, Prismatic Helm, Nova Armor, and Green Dream.
Magus had a Doom Scythe, Gloom Helm, Shadowplume Robe, and a Golden Stud.
Edit: Was also on an NG+
