Considering this happened just yesterday with the same thing. As if detecting they got stopped prompted them to try again instead of backing off.

Yeah. It was odd. Seemingly harmless posts, though apparently copied from previous threads or from Reddit, being edited days later by the user to include spams links.

Not sure what to make of Trig's latest posts...

Ah, sometimes it happens that a user, either newly registered or after a long absence, decides to put input on a bunch of posts at the same time. It's a harmless action, I'd say.

It's weird though. I Googled (edit: several of the) posts' contents and they really don't seem to be elsewhere on the internet. I don't wish to offend them if they really are Chrono fans... but some of the posts were low effort, you gotta admit. Most of them are definitely something anybody could come up with by spending some minutes on the various wikis.

But the huge question.........why would a spammer go through such effort just to add those obvious, silly, out-of-context links?

edit: except the Reddit one which you linked of course.

edit2: all of my recent cryptic posts are ones where a spammer put a weird thing. They were easy to find because all topics ended in "!!" or similar, but were made by unique accounts with 1 post each.
