Wandering back in after I'm-not-even-sure-how-long
« on: June 25, 2016, 03:16:49 pm »
Eheheh . . .  I got one of those "day job" things and it kind of ate me alive.  Don't know if anyone even remembers me anymore at this point, but I should be wandering in and out of here again periodically now, mostly on weekends.

I feel a bit relieved to see a familiar name.

I haven't done any useful thing for years, I tend to avoid things I think that are hard to do and hate to learn new things. Maybe I'm really getting old.
In fact, real life has not changed much in past 7 years.

I think as we get older, Real Life gets to be harder and harder on us even if what we're doing there doesn't change, leaving us with less and less mental and emotional energy to spare. Guess there's a reason it's called "the Springtime of Youth".

I am in the process of restarting the Löve RPG framework project I was working on back when, though. We'll see how far I get with that this time before flaming out.

Same here. I'm now a Big Four senior, so my free time is being sapped at a higher level than ever before in my life. I still have ideas for a Glenn one-off and am still finding myself constantly thinking about what could be a compelling story for a new Chrono game, but the prospect of ever finding time to work on these ideas is beyond hope. But I'm glad we're all still lurking...

I remember you.

You are among friends of old, and also new who have breathed life into this site.

This community has been scattered across the endless expanse of time, but we always find our way back to one-another.

Seems like there are a surprising number of old-timers still around. :)
