Oekaki boards and highlights inaccesible

Clicking any of the highlights in this specific page provides a generic "Could not connect to the MySQL database" error message: https://www.chronocompendium.com/Term/Oekaki_Highlights.html

Clicking on the link that used to take you to the oekaki board where you could doodle your own or browse someone else's sketches provides a generic "This page cannot be displayed" error message: http://www.chronocompendium.com/oekaki

The last link, by default, redirects you to http://www.chronocompendium.com:8000/oekaki

By removing the port number, and making it HTTPS instead, I get the MySQL error.

So, are the oekaki boards permanently inaccesible/disabled? Any chance of bringing them back? If for whatever reason there's no chance of fixing this, would you be able to provide a compressed archive of the drawings that used to be available there? I really enjoyed going through the entire gallery every now and then, at least once a year. I didn't think about making a backup myself, since it never crossed my mind they would one day become inaccessible.

I'll probably try tackling this in late May. If I can't recover the original artwork, then at the very least I can create a new Oekaki board system (the old system had some security and SPAM issues).

I've got an Oekaki backup (409 images), so at the very worst I could put them on a separate page as an old archive.
