I figured I could sucker you in w/compliments! Uh, well, anyways...I've tried it throughout various forums, and since the Compendium's picked up in the last few months, I've decided to maybe start it here as well...
The Top 1,000,000 RPGs of All Time
Now, I don't want this thread to be the thread we list said Top RPGs...Because I think there needs to be rules.
For one, we need a common definition of what an RPG is (Zelda games get hashed out a lot in these types of things) or at least which games should/should not be included. I do not want to include table-top RPGs, but am perfectly willing to add PC RPGs, SPRGs, Action Adventure RPGs, ect...
And secondly, how votes should be counted. Before, I had implemented a 1-1,000,000 list you could have, the first ten would be counter-proportionate to their placing (your first place RPG would gain ten votes, your second, nine, and so on) and every place after 9 would be counted as one.
But all of these things, I think, should be discussed. Hell, what do you even think about making such a list at all? I just think that the results from a Chrono-based site would be interesting...especially since it's an intellectual Chrono-based site...
