7F0200-7F03FF is all good for location specific values, but 7F0200 specifically is used for string values.

Forgot to post back in August that I started the classic "Next Generation" style sequel.  So many OCs and it's also Mystic-heavy because I wanted to world-build the Mystics and make up more lore for them because I found the game very lacking in that department.

Ok so for #1 , you are right you have to replace serge model -> But here's the catch :
I heard you could do "extend" the size of the disc (like adding 5000 if we replaced serge with dark serge in this case) but idk how much of a hassle it would be to offset everything after.
So instead what I did for that test was overwrite Kid's model, making her un-playable o.o as idk how to extend the game size (in the new version it is possible tho >> I believe) we might wanna start working on the new version, altho it misses alot of info still

Potential solution is swap a model that has enough size in it so you don't need to offset anything, which is what we did with Dario, only Turnip and few others had enough space for it!

I finally tested the character swap with your dario to pc guide,i definitly did something wrong, so i will need more infos if you dont mind , there is 4 files, battlemodel, battle anims, texture file, and weapon :

1) If "Dark Serge (100%) Final" is the 3d model alone (10000 length), i just need to replace it with serge model , located at 114D2800 ( B000 length)?

2)  Serge anim offset are not indicated in the info txt

3) Serge texture are not indicated either but i swapped them with TIMVIEWER, using dark serge's ( worked on field but cannot say for battle since its crashed)

4) finally the most enigmatic part for me, how did you managed to get dark serge scythe? did you swapped this weapon with some serge weapon model and texture? or this weapon really exist?

Since i have no infos for the 2) and 4), i only swapped the 3D model and textures , hoping i will get a dark serge with serge default animation and weapons, to see at least if the model works fine, but the game crashed in battle just before serge load.

By the way , since its a Dario mod thread , maybe this is the wrong place to discuss that, let me know about this too so i dont use too much darkserge things in the topic :p, i forgot to mention that i correctly swapped the first and last part of the modification ( changing iso format and rebuild, my mystake is in the modification with the hex editor)

Just a dumb question. Is the temporary memory range the entire 7F02xx range?

7F0200(used often for temporary variables in the game)... Often times this is like when the game uses that assignment for"found whatever item in a chest"and then it sends the item name string index to that as a pointer. Typically I'll use 7f 0 288 to 7F044 as my temporary variable range if I need one for that particular scene/event because most of the time those aren't ever used in the game as temporary variables of course it would be nice at temporal flux would have a variable check to see if a variable is already used in that cutscene or not would be very useful. 😎

Hey, Boo. Just a short update don't worry! laffin'

I beat or re-beat Catherine to get my trophies back (I changed PSN accts.) it's a pretty good puzzle game with anime sequences-storyline that I greatly enjoyed the artwork was nice and so was the voice acting. I have a thing for all the localization companies in the West Coast sometimes I think they come to San Francisco and notice all the people for "inspiration" or motivation!

In Chrono Trigger, I am copying what you said w/the Nu at the Hunting Range and farming tech pts. I remember Magus gives me trouble sometimes esp. after/when he summons Lavos.

As for non-RPGs a.k.a. my self-care I have been listening to a lot of the Survivor soundtrack which's mostly just instrumentals or orchestrals done by the local indigenous tribes in ea. of the countries they visit. I lit. just watch the opening sequences on YouTube where they have a picture of each contestant and background music & sometimes I get a little teary-eyed. Survivor's been in my life since early, early highschool and it's still going on! I guess I'm surprised I love Survivor so much. They do 2 seasons a/per year so it almost timelines my life and I recollect memories and feelings as I hear the music and see all the characters, again.

I am doing a Prisoner's workout in my room. Basc. I do sets of 16 push-ups, then I take a break. Prisoners kinda only do upper body but I do core exercises like sit-ups on my bed, then I take a break. Inmates have nothing to do but workout, eat a really basic meal 3x a day and they get a lot of sleep in. I do go out and walk but I don't have time for like an hour hike but just to get blood flowing to my legs bec I always think of how sedentary I am gaming. I mostly graze all day on snacks but I do drink a lot of coffee but a TON of water. My motivation, work ethic and desire seem to be a bit more balanced now, I'm enjoying gaming (each trophy is like a dopamine hit) and I do occassionally show my face at our market area more and it feels kinda good? I dunno if it's bec ppl see me.

Still gaming, still watching Survivor & still enjoying lifes! Hope you're feeling good these days man! *ciao*

EDIT: the blink animation is a separate texture file , if you open the iso with timviewer you can notice they are separated from the main file, maybe thats what causing the flashing?

ohhh nice thank you very much I'll try making patches from now on!

I just re-uploaded a new version fixing few things, and making the Bend of Time accessible in regular game

Yes this glitch is #5 on the remaining problem left! It is the blinking animation, we still haven't figure how to remove that animation. All Npc don't blink but PC does so when we use an NPC it does that weird visual glitch  x.x
