Fan Art / Re: Chrono Trigger voiced by industry VAs

Yeah. He's a huge VA actor and best known for Fullmetal Alchemist and for playing Broly in the Dragonball Super movie. He's also been super active in the Star Trek fanon and played Captain Kirk in a handful of fan productions.

I actually really like(d) Vic and wanted to believe that maybe he was just a physically touchy person that people misunderstood. Unfortunately, it turned out the complaints were true. He was revealed to be a shady horndog who made unwanted sexual advances and sexually harassed women on the regular, both fans and coworkers alike. He also was trying to cheat on his fiancÚ with another VA, who rebuffed his advances. Shitty behavior all around.

That all being said, he's very charismatic and seems like he could be a decent human being, despite everything that's happened. He seemed very apologetic and it did feel more genuine than a lot of these type of apologies. Maybe I am biased, but it felt genuine to me.

I am torn on whether or not he deserved the absolute career banishment and cancelling that he has undergone. I mean, he was literally dropped from EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. I'm not saying he didn't victimize women (and those victims come first) and didn't deserve it, but I do hope he has the ability to grow and change, and I hope is turning for the best and can make amends with both his victims and the industry at large.

People do change, and I think Vic could be redeemed, too -- as long as he is genuine in his growth and puts his victims first. Time will tell.

Hm? Was that one of those who did bad stuff at some point of their careers?

Oh my GOD Schala I know who you're talking about

Let me guess: Richard Epcar as Magus?  :P

I met Mr. Tim through a Chrono Trigger facebook group myself. Not terrible pics for some of the characters, but why, why, WHY Vic Mignogna as Dalton?? Not that Dalton isn't already a terrible cretin, but...

Chrono Trigger Modification / Re: 8th Playable Character Possible?! (Updating!)
« Last post by IHBP on May 23, 2021, 06:39:05 pm »
Sorry it took so long, life has been pretty hectic.
Here is 8thy with the end of time split, after story point d3 the end of time becomes 1CF.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ka3u94w1m2hpnmg/8thy%202021.ips?dl=0

As a suggestion I recommend playing through and making note of which maps actually need 8thy moved up for the sake of your sanity and this project's completion.

Example: Magus on the Blackbird required moving his script to the top  on only one single map to function properly.

Screwed with work right now; can anyone find the links that aren't broken and save the images to a backup just in case this goes down before we can update the Compendium/get them on the Wiki?

I've come to find out that, lol, I love items in RPGs. Especially food-related items. I dunno, I just find it kinda interesting. If I'm being honest I only played Star Ocean: The Second Story and Suikoden II solely for the cooking mini-games. I just think it's so unique! I'm looking forward to cooking in Till the End of Time (I think I'm getting close?) hopefully it lives up to its predecessor.
98
I'd say, I could never really get the hang of item crafting in that game, heh. I mostly ignored it whenever I played. Only like one time I did tried to put some effort on it, but even then it was quite minimal.
99
I agree, The Second Story was so much fun to play and is one of my favorite RPGs on the PS1. I still have to go back and beat Rena's scenario sometime, as I always choose Claude whenever I re-play the game...

So, I started Till the End of Time yesterday, about 7 hours in, and I think it's pretty fun so far. I'm doing it on easy mode so I can hopefully not care about battles that much and just enjoy the story and beat the game. Then I'll go back and play it on a harder difficulty to win Battle Trophies (they're locked on easy mode). Apparently, I was mistaken about item creation in this game as it has cooking unfortunately I still haven't been able to do it yet.

Oh, it did? *looks it up* Interesting. And even for PS4 it was.

Well, hopefully they also port it and SO2 to PC as well. I have neither a PS4 or Switch.
