The most common Chrono Trigger soundfont (the Mathew Valente one which has been reposted to William Kage, etc) is woefully incomplete. There’s a couple samples I’m looking for, such as the Tyrano Lair intro sound, World Revolution/Lavos organ, the percussion and piano bass from the second part of Zeal Palace, the percussion from Secret of the Forest, some synths, etc etc. Anyone able to point me in the direction of a place I can pick up those samples?
I know soundfonts are pretty dated technology, but just thought I’d ask around.

There seems to be a lot missing about remixes in the song sections. I would edit it myself but no idea how. Idk how out of date it is for Chrono Cross, but here's a list of  popular remix albums I have not seen included for Chrono Trigger
.Chrono Trigger: Orchestral Selections, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 (Malcolm Robinson, 2015 and 2019 respectively)
.Peaceful Days - TPR & Roxane Genot (2019) (Also TPR's Chrono Cross arrangement album probably isn't listed here either)
.Chronology: A Jazz Tribute to Chrono Trigger (OC Jazz Collective, 2016)
.Epoch: A Tribute to Chrono Trigger (Materia Collective, 2019)
.Chrono Trigger: Orchestral Arrangement (2019)
(Also the accompanying Chrono Cross: Orchestral Arrangement - same year)
(And also the accompanying piano duets)
Chrono Trigger - Music Box Collections (Materia Collective)
Chrono Trigger - Piano Collection (Materia Collective)
Chrono Cinematica Remastered (2020, but the original album is mentioned somewhere... I think)
And some other remix artists I have not seen mentioned at all -
PPF
JonnyAtma/GaMetal
Time Rock Orchestra
String Player Gamer (I think?)
Chrono Trigger the Musical/Man on the Internet

If there is any way I can help update the music sections please let me know. Otherwise, would someone be so kind as to update the music section?
Can't confirm tthis one, but maybe Sean Schafianski as well?

General Discussion / 25 Years of Chrono Trigger!
« on: March 11, 2020, 07:21:44 pm »
As some of you may know, the Japanese anniversary of Chrono Trigger is today.
I made a little tribute video to it, including the results to the poll I made a little while back. Enjoy!

As some of you may no, but likely not, I run a YouTube channel which is basically a bunch of Chrono Trigger remix extensions/compilations, backups of CT albums I've bought, and some other CT related stuff. (The channel link, if you're interested, is https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBiIZ8RV-V9jWtI670jg0dA)
March 11th, the date Chrono Trigger was first released in Japan, is fast approaching.
So to celebrate, and as part of my celebratory video, I'd love it if you could fill out this form about your opinions of Chrono Trigger, it's characters, areas, and music!
Oof... Just realized I forgot to put anything about techs or the combat in there. But the combat isn't as important to me as the other stuff. Anyway, here's the link: https://forms.gle/ZgqjXEg1SzveXDQ97
Enjoy! I'll make a new post when I upload my celebratory video.

Being Lavos, of course, I'm looking for a complete set of sprites of Lavos Core that aren't a pain to get/seperate.
I'm not really "hacking" per say, I just want the sprites for personal use. Do any of you people (who are much more talented than me, lol) have a nice set of Lavos Core sprites?
I'll take the other forms if you give them to me but the core is the priority.
Thank you!

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Favorite Music/Covers from the series
« on: December 22, 2019, 10:32:12 pm »
The music of the Chrono series is one of the greatest joys of it all. Do you have any favorite songs/covers you want to share?
Me myself, I recommend buying Malcolm Robinson's two Chrono Trigger Orchestral Selections albums. Those are worthwhile remasters of 30 of the best CT songs... Sadly I don't think he plans to do Chrono Cross, at least not for a while.
