General Discussion / Chrono Trigger Tattoo

So since I got my very first tattoo on my birthday, (hubby and I got matching ones with our names- and I'm not worried, he's my husband. LOL) I've been seriously contemplating a Chrono Trigger one. At first I was thinking of the "C" on my shoulder, but that is pretty common and you wouldn't be able to see it all time time. Now I'm debating a Marle sprite on my wrist. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Crimson Echoes / Argh!!!!

Ok so I have an iMac and I'm trying to play Crimson Echoes. The problem I'm having is that every emulator I download it won't open because it doesn't recognize the developer. Has anyone ever played CE on a Mac? If so, how did you you do it? I've hit a wall here and it's so frustrating. If it can't be done I'll have to wait until I get my SNES down here and buy it in cartridge form. Ugh!!!

Chrono Trigger DS Analysis / Glitch to defeat the Time Devourer

So I read online earlier tonight that you can defeat the Time Devourer by HEALING it. The reasoning being that it has a HP of 32000 which is the max HP that the game can handle and when you heal it past 32000 it resets the counter and gives it a negative HP, hence defeating it. Tonight I tried this TWICE to make sure it really works and it does! Now honestly, I think it’s easier to beat it the normal way but it was still fun. I just had to share!!

Ok this is my first fanfic and it's not finished yet so it's all getting typed out here. Ha ha.
The Proposal and the Ring

Crono was nervous. Ever since that fateful day that he bumped into Marle at the Millennial Fair, he was in love with her. Even after saving the world together, he still couldn't believe that she loved him. He was a commoner, she was a beautiful princess and he knew she could have any man she wanted... and she chose him! Some days he still couldn't believe how lucky he was.
Crono had had a private audience with the King around a month ago and was given the King's blessing to ask for Marle's hand in marriage. He took this moment to apologize to Crono about their first meeting; telling him he was still embarrassed about it to this very day. "I was very closed-minded then," the King started, "I judged you before I even knew you and I believed what the Chancellor had told me about you. If I had known then what I know now..." the King trailed off. "I will always be sorry about that Crono." He continued. "I do hope one day you can forgive me." This was very difficult for the King, as he wasn't used to being in the wrong, but he wanted to set things straight with Crono before he and Princess Nadia got engaged. He wanted to have a fresh start with his future son-in-law.
Crono, not expecting any of this, replied sheepishly, "Of course, Your Majesty. It was a long time ago now, don't feel bad about it."
"Thank you Crono," the King said, relieved. "Gracious as always." He straightened. "Ah-hem! Now that that's out of the way, let's get down to business. Here is the Royal Engagement Ring. Every female royal since the formation of Guardia and possibly before, has been given this ring. I gave it to Queen Aliza and your friend King Guardia XXI gave it to Queen Leene. I've already had it sized for you as I had a feeling this day was coming and I couldn't ask for a better man to marry my Nadia. I know you will take good care of her." With that, the King handed Crono the box that the ring was in. Crono took it gently, the worn felt of the box soft in his hands. He opened it gingerly and had to hide his surprise. The ring looked just like Marle's pendant, only set as a ring! What did this mean? He wondered. It troubled Crono but he didn't want the King to think he was ungrateful. "It's very beautiful, thank you Your Majesty. I'm sure Ma-- I mean Princess Nadia will love it." The King smiled. "Believe it or not, Nadia has never seen this ring. She was so young when her mother passed and I thought it would be a nice surprise for her for when she did fall in love someday. That day came much sooner than I would have liked, but you are very good for my daughter Crono."
"If you need any help with the proposal, please let me know." The King continued. "Now you better head home before Nadia comes home and becomes suspicious about us talking alone! Luckily for us, I sent her on a 'royal enagement' today." The King laughed. "Welcome to the family Crono, a man like you is exactly what Guardia needs."
"Thank you. Your Majesty." Crono bowed to the King and then headed home.
In the coming weeks, he had been thinking about how to propose to Marle and about the ring. What could the resemblance to her pendent mean? It too was obviously made out of Dreamstone. What kind of powers did it hold? It greatly troubled Crono, but he didn't dare talk to ANYONE about it. He hadn't even shown the ring to Lucca, who was helping him plan the proposal. He didn't want any negativity or darkness shadowing this special event. Once Marle had the ring, they could discuss it then. He was jittery enough as it was!
I am ending the except here. What do you guys think? I do hope you enjoyed it and are intrigued to read the rest of the story once it's completed! This is my first time sharing it with anyone so I would love to hear your thoughts!

I know shortly after I joined here I mentioned finding Flames of Eternity and Crimson Echoes on Etsy. OMG I had NO IDEA that FoE is a stolen CE. I researched it today when I watched a LP of FoE on YouTube and I finished it and decided to watch CE next. Needless to say I was shocked when they started out very similarly. I actually feel really bad about it and knowing this now I will never play FoE, just CE. Seriously, forgive my ignorance because I seriously had NO IDEA! Thank you guys, you are seriously the best!!

Ok so when you are on the Blackbird (I think that's what it's called, all of a sudden I can't remember. LOL) and Dalton takes away all your weapons and possession, why can't you use magic? There's really no reason to not being able to use magic before you get your possessions back, Dalton can't take magic from you!!

I just wanted you guys to know that the Chrono Trigger on iOS got an update! It has the animated cutscenes, improved graphics and sound (I find it to be cleaner) and a revamped battle system! Just wanted to let you all know1 (Yes, I'm excited about this!!)

Ok, so I'm hoping this makes sense because it did when I was thinking about this on my drive to the gym this morning. LOL
So as we know, Lavos is a parasite of the largest kind, where the planet is his host. Now, if I remember from Chrono Cross correctly, Lavos was actually guiding the human race and the planet was guiding the reptites, as they cared more about the planet than humans. So are humans also parasites of the planet? Just something I was thinking about today.

General Discussion / Question...

So I'm on the quest to a better, healthier me. I actually have a lot of weight to lose, but I've lost a lot of weight before, so I know I'll get there. Anyway, my point behind this post is that I use a site/app called SparkPeople and I'd thought of creating a SparkTeam called something like "Chrono Series Lovers" or something like that. If I did, would any of you like to join me? I just figure the more the merrier!
I just started on Thursday (2/16) and I've already lost 9 pounds. I'm going to the gym 4 days a week (not doing much yet IMO, just 30 minutes on the elliptical) and tracking my food intake. I just think you guys are awesome here so if anyone wants to join me, let me know! My ID on there is GETTINLEANIN18.

So if you don't know, you can actually download Chrono Trigger from the app Store. It'll set you back $10 which was no big deal to me. Anyway, I've been playing it and I would just like to say Death Peak is so difficult! Argh! *rips hair out*

So as I've stated in a few threads here, I'm planning on starting some Chrono Trigger fan art and I started writing a fanfic. I have a great idea for a piece of art in my head, but I think I have to get down how to draw Crono and Marle first. Would you guys be interested in seeing my doodlings? I can see this will be a process. LOL Also when I'm as done as I think I will be fore my story, could I put it here for you guys to read before I post it on Deviant Art? Thanks!

So I thought I would let you guys know that if you have Apple Music you can download all 3 albums of the Chrono Trigger music that The Black Robinson Synthetic Orchestra did. I also did find some Chrono Cross music too, I have them all together in a playlist. Right now this playlist is all I want to listen to, it makes me happy.
