Theres also a manga/anime called Chrono Crusade, but I have never heard of one by the same name of Cross. Funny even the C style clock is used.

Submissions / Re: No remake of Chrono Cross or no Sequel to Chrono Cross in development at SQEX

If only they would visit the compendium and other fan sites and see how much people love the series and still support it. They should have got a clue when the redesign project came about. I love final fantasy but im tired of all the FF remakes and remasters, I want Chrono action.

I guess just the way the psx reads the information from the disc, these load times arent noticeable in FFIV because the battle scenes switch to another screen and the load times are more than likely processed then. Also if you can, watch the import disc FMVs, the framerate is alot smoother, especially when Crono is fighting the imp or goon, and Marle shoots it with her crossbow.

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / CT Status Screen Diffrences
« on: January 24, 2007, 07:55:10 am »
All these years I have owned both versions of Chrono Trigger(SNES and PSX Port) and something had always seemed diffrent to me. Considering that most everyone thinks its a straight port(with added FMV's , bonus content) but In game nothing changed right? Well I don't know if anyone else has noticed but I finally found something that makes them diffrent. Look at the screenshot below and notice where Crono's HIT stat is located and then look at the same screen on PSX. HIT is the top right stat. I know this is only a minor change but still makes the PSX version diffrent.(sorry for lack of PSX picture)

Yeah the only reason I never got Level ** was due to the load times. Just bothered me too much. Also, I think I read somewhere that the FMV's in the Japanese release have a smoother framerate, not jittery like NTSC. Alas TC, bad port or not it was still released under a Final Fantasy brand compilation, so stay hopefull. Also if you have a Wii SE might decide to put it up for download on the VC!

Well even if its not a "Final Fantasy" Chrono Trigger was released under Final Fantasy Chronicles along with FFII/IV so I woudn't rule it out totally, but only time will tell.
