Oh, and as for that Chrono Cross Team Fate Artical...Easy. They all die due to their own realization of their tremendous lack of character.

Zing!  Funny because it's true...

Anyway, nobody has yet written an article about the fate of the CT team.  It's just one of the couple dozen article ideas we've got floating around.

Ah, I remember being able to burn cds.  It was quite fun and convenient.  I can't wait to be able to do so again. (only 15 days, 8 hrs and 12 minutes until i can open my new computer)

I must say, BWA HAH!!!

(To those of you who think I should not make fun of his misfortune, keep in mind that while he's waiting to gain access to his own computer, Drumguy will be using mine on occasion.)

Must stop attempting to type while drunk...it doesn't work very well.

That is an excellent idea, though. Fates of the Chrono Cross Team, a huge follow-up to the Fates of the Chrono Trigger Team article.

Uh...what?  What the hell does that have to do with anything in this thread?

Anyways...As soon as I have time, I'll post my thoughts on the FF series, which I *gasp* like better than the Chrono series, as a general rule.  I will, however, echo the sentiment that the best FF was VI.  FFVI was my favorite game of all time.

P.S. Don’t look for me to try something like this with Chrono Cross anytime soon. I’d go mad…

OK...whatever...

...damn, I'm drunk...

If I ever get FFC ripped on my computer again, I'll check. We should look for similarities between the sword seen in the fall of Guardia cutscene and the one mentioned by JustinS1985.

Can't believe I haven't brought this up before, but would the changes in Frog's body also result in his seed becoming that of a frog's? I forget what original impact this would have on anything, but it might be an interesting factoid.

The semi-joke ending you get if you beat Lavos immediately after saving the Queen (you must do it between when Lucca leaves you at the fair and when you take Marle to Guardia Castle, so you only have Crono and Marle) seems to suggest this...

Hmmm....we might try this one...

http://www.ffcompendium.com

In addition to the obvious name similarities, Final Fantasy Compendium seems to contain some very interesting intellectual material.  The only thing I've looked at so far is an extensive page on name origins.  Quite interesting stuff.

Also, check out http://mythology.terrapolis.org/Mythology.htm for similar insight into Square's games.

Yeah, that is kind of interesting, how Lavos kind of does seem inherently evil, with it's whole obsession with destruction (there even seems to be a bit of a self-destructive tendency)...

I've been wondering if maybe Lavos was originally created as a weapon and then became sentient, kind of like Deus from Xenogears?  It wouldn't really be "evil" in that case - it's just doing what it was created to do... except that's it's gone out of control and refuses to stop.

Hmm...interesting theory...

Yes...that site was taken down due to inactivity on the part of the owner (whose whereabouts are thus far unknown), but the Compendium's own warmgun had archived the site and we will be mirroring it at some point in the near future.
