My personal belief is that FATE is more the Entity than anyone or thing else. They gang says that its like someone wanted them to witness the events, so myabe FATE wanted them to travel through time and change the future to protect its existence even more.

Nu's are just life forms. just cuz they aren't humans, doesn't give them any more significants, the fact that all life begins and ends with Nu is strange, maybe the fact that Spekkio's final form is a Nu also has something to do with it also. But you don't hear anyone wondering the significance of any mystics or demihumans do ya?

Fate isn't all powerful, it clearly states in the game that there are more than likely more than 2 dimensions, if your gonna speculate, then one could say that the RD story is in another dimension too. The tesseract really only makes sense to say it exist everywhere, why else would it be so feared if it only existed in one or two dimensions. Most of the game is based on speculation, kinda like the Bible, you can take it for what it says, or you can over analyze everything because you were looking for the real meaning behind it, just take the game for what it is and enjoy it instead of trying to explain something that no one except for SE (and i doubt even they can) can explain.

Lavos probably had them for the sole purpose of studying them, and since he controlled the planets DNA, it would be easy for him to clone them. As for Magus not being there, SE probably didn't put him in there because technically, you don't have to get him on your team, they probably wanted to hide the fact that you can recruit him as much as possible, so they didn't include him at all.
