Characters, Plot, and Themes / Luccia = Lucca?
« on: October 12, 2005, 10:37:21 am »
Yeah the planet is kinda retarded in CC, but since the Entity is never revealed, it's impossible to tell anything about it, if it's the planet, then the Entity basically is kinda stupid.  To make the story better, i would hope it was FATE, but, no one really knows.

I was thinking of naming my daughter (if i have one) Claire, not after claire from resident evil, or Gwendolyn, after Gwen Stacy from Spider-Man, if that counts.

Magus is such a bad ass, i don't think i've ever killed him and saved, sure the Frog/glenn ending is cool, but having Magus in your party really makes the Black Omen more interesting, especially when you fight Zeal.

What about the CT novel, don't know much about it,  but they were talking about it on G4 the other day.

And the only reason people are offended by the term "gay", is because they are trying to hard to be politically correct, i have a lot of gay friends and they use the term all the time in a derogatory way, there usually is no offense meant, it's just the same as calling someone stupid or dumb. Jeez people, lighten up.

Characters, Plot, and Themes / Re: Schala & Kid (in the ending)
« on: October 11, 2005, 07:28:28 pm »
in toriyama's cut scenes, Schala has to be older than 12, although you really only see her for a moment from behind, and Janus looks like he's like 6 or somethin'. and WTF, Schala did not have green hair.

General Discussion / Land Rights Debate

Don't mess with Isreal man, it's been proven in history that any country that messes with God's people don' succeed very well afterwards, besides, no isreali(sp?) has ever done any wrong to me, and a lot of Jewish people are nice, in fact, i've never met one that wasn't. Being a Catholic male, i know what it's like to see my religion pushed upon others, and i can honestly say, i don't agree with it.  I've never seen a Jewish person go around trying to get other people to join their beliefs. and it's really a shame all the crap that they have been through, when they finally get the land that was rightfully theirs in the first place back, they start getting bombed and junk like that.  Do to all the garbage (trying to keep it clean here) that has happened to them over the course of history, i'd almost say that they deserve to do whatever the hell they want to.  It's a little different to be living somewhere like America, where you can take for granite all the freedom we have. We don't have to worry really about going to the mall or getting on a bus and getting blown up by some cry baby who can't accept another race or their beliefs.  So to Palestine, i say, go on believing the words of a crazy drunk who basically just made some shit up and all your crazy asses believed him because, well, you suck, and you want a reason to kill. Bastards.  And no damn terrorist ever, EVER, better let me catch them doing some stupid shit like 9-11 ever again, cause i'll go nuts and freakin' end up in prison for all the crap that they have done supposedly in the name of the Lord.  I'm fairly confident that God didn't want some crazy ass wholes going aroung flying planes into buildings or blowing themselves up and in the process, killing innocent women and children.  Sorry if i've offended any one, but after seeing an American soldier get his head cut off with a freakin' butter knife, i'm pretty bitter towards anyone who thinks that going crazy because of some "prophet" (who he himself was a little nuts) said so would get you into heaven, and that idea is just ludacris. And i don't dislike all muslim people, just those who feel it's their job to tell me that i'm wrong, and i'm going to hell, that God's job dammit, if i'm an infedel, or the jewish people or even the Catholics are wrong about God, then let the Lord tell me on judgement day, but not some bastards who train to kill innocent people by climbing across monkey bars.

History, Locations, and Artifacts / The Catalyst of CT

I think the Planet, like Lavos, works more on survival tactics, like bringing Dinopolis into the world. Why the hell did it do it? Is it retarded... FATE and Chronopolis weren't going to do anything to change the future, and only built El Nido to hide themselves. The Planet, brining in Cronopolis, let the Dragonites loose to do their stuff, and possibly the demi-humans were born out of some human/dragonite relation.

Ya know, you gotta point there, the planet really did kinda screw itself, although it was trying to make things the way they were supposed to be originally, but basically, it ended it's own dream.

Characters, Plot, and Themes / Dalton in Lavos Timeline
« on: October 04, 2005, 02:24:08 pm »
Well realizing that he was about to be obliterated by Lavos, somehow i don't think being vaporized or crashing into the ocean and dying sound anything like becoming immortal.  I kinda think that he maybe realized that he was gonna die, and maybe, just maybe, he decided to try and save himself, unless he thought that being disintegrated or drowning meant being immortal, i don't know, i'm not an expert on immortality, but i'll tell what he didn't do, become IMMORTAL!

yeah, too bad he looks like whinier, more gay version of Marylin Manson, and who the hell would chose him in any battle when you could have Guile?  Or even after that, i would never use someone who looks like they have gender confusion and whose techs basically suck.

Well for the sake of saving Cat-girls, i won't say this but once more; The CT gang would crush any who oppose them, save for maybe the FFVII crew, but even that would be closer than CT VS Xenogears.

Characters, Plot, and Themes / Doors in the future
« on: October 04, 2005, 02:08:45 pm »
A medicine bag, eh?  Why the hell does sqaure do that?  They always screw up translations and make people have threads like this.

Maybe since Lavos reigned over 2300 A.D., he somehow created the doors with his knowledge of Zeal to hide the treasures he thought may help some adventurer destroy him? Just a thought.

Characters, Plot, and Themes / Humans

Yeah, now that you mention it, wtf is up with humans having dactyls on their side, i mean, they are dinosaurs (reptites), and they technically should hate eachother, right?

I think that maybe the developers just wanted to show that no matter where you go or what time period you may be in, there will always be fighting, kinda like in the movie the Village.

Lavos, the Planet, and other Entities / Does the Entity exist?
« on: October 03, 2005, 04:33:06 pm »
Basically everything invovling the Entity and FATE are purely based on specualtion anyways, so no one's theories are better than any one elses, because they can not be proved, if it's not in the game, then you can't criticize someone for making a guess about the subject.  The game never clearly states who or what the Entity is, but the closest thing seems to be FATE, but really, who knows what the Entity really is.

It doesn't say in the Bible that God created bacteria so that things could evolve, so the theory that God made us evolve can't be true, the Lord created life in his likeness, not some monkey or alien(damn that Tom Cruise and his Scientology).
