7F0200-7F03FF is all good for location specific values, but 7F0200 specifically is used for string values.

Yup that worked. I only needed to do the first part since I designed the EoT to always have the Epoch there once it's acquired.

I'm not the brains behind this, so I dont know how to extract it for other hacks. But if anyone makes alternate outfits I'll put them to use.

If one were interested in contributing alt costume sprites, what would one need to know about? Are there full sprite sheets of the characters available that can be edited and still be imported? Is it possible to have more than one alt per character?

I dont think there's any blank palettes left so you'd have to use existing ones. But there is lots of space for new graphics, so if you make new graphics for any character I'll add them.

The easiest way to implement them is open a vanilla rom in a tile editor and just draw them other the existing character. I can do the rest.

It says any enemy can be uncompressed, but I need to be able to add new uncompressed graphics so I can give the pcs alternate appearances.

Does anyone know how to expand the uncompressed graphics packet index? It currently goes to x07 but I'd like it to go to x09
