That is odd. I chose to not do the Hydra Marshes quest, but did visit Water Dragon Isle for the Ice Breath and fought the dwarves. Then way later while coming back to fight the Water Dragon, the fairies were still there and the Lagoonates were only roaming around the other areas.

One can assume then that the Lagoonates never take a place on the fairies' dissapearance, the dwarves have already killed them by the time they appear.

Hmmm.... So which version is canon?

Fairies are attacked and dwarves repent after hearing of the Hydra child ? Fairies are attacked but survive albeit with a hatred for humans ? Or fairies are attacked and completely wiped from the island forever ?

I guess this is another one of those "choose what you like best" things.

Most likely the Hydra Marshes quest is canon, and that hydra is killed, that's the only thing for sure.

You can avoid that if Razzly is in the party during the fight against the Hydra, but not when you take the humour? I'm not sure about the triggers to get RazFlower.

Strangely, the Razzly entry here mentions Zoah, not Zappa.

OK, I've found somethink in this walkthrough: http://www.ign.com/faqs/2003/chrono-trigger-walkthrough-437178.

Here it says:

Quote
MECHANICAL ENEMIES:  Lucca's Plasma Gun (found in the Factory) might
inflict Stop-status to the following enemies: Bug, Bugger, Byte,
Cybot, Debugger, Debuggest, Martello, Proto 2, Proto 3, Proto 4,
    Synchrite.

MAGICAL ENEMIES:  These enemies have magical properties: Barghest,
Blue Scout, Egder, Jinn, Jinn Bottle, Juggler, Krakker, Mage, Nu,
(Octobino,) Red Scout, Scouter, Sorcerer.  The following weapons are
effective against them: Demon Edge (150%), Pearl Edge (150%),
    BraveSword (200%), Masamune (2) (200%), Demon Hit (200%).

It doesn't say anything about the DS enemies, although I suppose they can be deduced from this. I guess the complete list would be as follows:
Mechanical enemies: Bug, Byte, Cybot, Deverminator, Deverminator EX, Exterminator, Iron Maiden, Martello, Prototype, Synchrite, Version 2.0, Version 3.0, Version 4.0.
Magical enemies: Blue Scouter, Blood Yolk, Chaos Mage, Djinn, Djinn Bottle, Egg Ooze, Ghul, Jackpot, Juggler, Nu, Red Scouter, Scouter, Sorcerer, Zealot Mage.

Damn, we should add this info to the encyclopedia here.

Very good. The only thing missing would be the base power of elements.

I have some doubts...

First, what is the first moment you're able to get the Chrono Cross? I always see people going to Divine Dragon Falls after defeating FATE, but the two tears can be acquired before that. Could the Chrono Cross be acquired as soon as you get the tears?

Second, when do you think is the best moment to regain Serge's body? Before or after defeating the dragons?

I'm sure any Power Point would work, but that specific one was the ONLY ONE ON THE ISLANDS.

Not only that, but on the whole world. Remember, those power points were built by the dragonians. Since there were only dragonians in El Nido, it's logical to assume El Nido was the only place in the world where they had a chance to be built. And most likely it was the only one to be ever built. Although, back in the reptite dimension, many more of them surely got built.

Actually in that one flashback where you see the Guru's disappearing in the black gates, you see Belthasar ending up in a dome. So either he ended up in one of the other domes and crossed the ruins, or he didn't build Keeper's Dome and ended up there immediately.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btEs0hVncDc&feature=relmfu

Belthasar appears at 1:44. Which dome do you think it is?

Anyway, Keeper's Dome is located in the same spot Melchior's Hut is located at year 1000. Maybe he found the leftovers and used them to complete his investigations.

In a New Game, they open at the same time as the Lost Sanctum. Maybe due to the same reason.

After killing Lavos, Magus departs to find Schala. So probably Eclipse Magus is just a posterior version of Magus, the Magus that was searching for Schala (and found her).

He's talking about the statues that can be found inside the tower that you visit in the last quest, where the Master at Arms is.

I've recently figured out the Mystical Knights essential elements are as follows:

Ozzie - Lightning
Flea - Fire
Slash - Water/Ice

maybe this could be added to their bios. They should definitely be listed as Innates in the four elements page - http://www.chronocompendium.com/Term/The_Four_Elements.html

here's my rationale:

Ozzie casts lightning on Zenan Bridge, Slash cancels Water in the first battle, and Flea casts fire magic in Ozzie's Fort.

In the final 3 on 3 battle with them, they use Delta Force, which means that each one has one of the three elements. Slash clearly casts the Ice part of the spell. Ozzie and Flea casts seem to be reversed, but that probably has to do with the fixed animation of the spell and wanting Ozzie to fire off first.

In Chrono Cross, Flea is red innate, Ozzie is green and Slash is blue. So it fits.

BTW, in the Viper Manor entry, it should be said that "Death Volcano" is the music played in the sewers.

Is there a similar topic for Chrono Cross?
