General Discussion / A Chrono dream

From my taekwondo master, he says that women can be nearly as strong as men, thought their peak won't be as high as female peak. Why then are women notoriously weaker than men, in average? He says it's because, in the early stages of life, men are encouraged to engage in physically demanding activities (the male kid games) while women are not. Those years are very important in the future muscle development. There is a girl in our gymnasium whose father had her have high physical activity and she has as much strength as a man her age and height could have. And definitely a lot more strength than me (I have tasted her kicks... )
Being more emotional... that comes with the upbringing. If we guys were allowed or encouraged to play with dolls when kids, we would be a lot more emotional. Even then, some of us can be as emotional as women, even without that upbringing.
About armors... yeah, mithril would be very expensive, but about rpg parties, we are not talking about armies, but a group of around 5 people, who are more like a commando: usually commandos have a lot more expensive equipment than regular soldiers.
Look:
He has no shield. Instead, the shield has been substituted by an armoured arm. I don't know how this is realistic, but it is standard in medieval fantasy scenarios. And it makes sense: if the arm armour is strong enough, you can use it to deflect enemy blows like you would use your shield, or your arm to deflect punches, while charging with that side. Then the Dart's slash would come with the other hand, while the enemy is trying to ready himself to another blow.

Well, you have to admit that the shape of the characters Daniel use in his avatar highly resemble hebrew. And now, that's the aleph i know and love

Well, i don't have a problem with girls dressing sexily in videogames... after all, if i am going to spend several hours watching at an array of sprites on the screen, at least let them be nice to see Now, my gf. does complain about it... until i remind her the reason why she bought Ehrgeizer
About Rose's and Dart's armor, i have to object. Think that those armors are usually made of metal, and metal, unless it is mithril, it's very heavy. So the less you have, the better you will move around. And think also that, in non-firearms combat, you usually charge against the enemy. Depending on your fighting style, you will charge with one side of your body, so that will be the side most heavily armored

Please... someone put Pierre out of his misery... lol
Btw, Daniel... the second letter in your avatar shouldn't be an aleph? Doesn't look like it (the only hebrew letter i know, though that might not be hebrew alphabet...)

Characters, Plot, and Themes / Schala and Lavos

I am not sure that the time inside the tesseract moves at the same rate that in the normal universe... for all we know, it could move back and ahead at different speeds...
Also, the Lavos that is merging with Schala... i doubt it is Lavos, they one Crono and co. fight. It's more like one of its spawns looking at the size (CT Lavos is larger than a day without food!).
Speculation: My theory is that, in the meeting with Schala, the Lavos-inside-the-shell, maybe in embryo state, died, and the shell tried to replace him with Schala.

if you put together blue, red and yellow lights, you get white. If you put together blue, red and yellow inks, you get black... kind of like that ^_^

Yeah, i agree on that: technological attacks, as Spekkio says, deal damage with the same effect as dark magic, not that it is actually dark magic. I have always thought, however that dark magic, at least in CT, is kind of product of the research in magic. We see that for example, Delta Attack is dark, but it requires the conjunction of the three different magical "flavours". Dark mages, like Janus, have devoted their life to study and practise magic, in their three flavours... and as a result of this, a fourth flavour appear.
What i mean is that the dark damage would appear from the research, whether it is technological or magical.

Don't think so... they were all merged they needed to be to destroy the existence. I gathered from the game that they had been destroying spacetimes, and now it was the turn for ours. Actually, when you get the "bad ending", i think they say that the TD leaves to devour other timelines.

Anyway, the way Ayla speaks reminds me a lot of sportsmen over here lol

Well, in Spain we call it Dario... since i don't know how to say that name in persian, i didn't want to assume that the english form would be the latin one
I wouldn't absolutely want to live like that. I wouldn't be alive. Me, without my upper nervouse activity, without being most totally aware of my environment, without being able to interact, at a cognitive level... that's not me. I am not that. Even more, even if my brain worked correctly, and i couldn't move my body... I don't want to be like that. It's too painfull even thinking it... and i have a family example, my grandfather. He is half aware, able to talk and distinguish people voices sometimes, despite of a brain damage of the 60%, but aware of the pain of his body. But they can't give him strong enough painkillers because he might die of overdose. He always was a strong person, very hard headed, and even though he asks for death (being paralitic, he managed to throw himself out of the bed several times, beliving, in his delirium, that he was on a balcony), his inner strength keeps him alive.
I prefer to die, one hundred times... even bear an agony of minutes... anything before living like my grandfather, or living without my body, or living without my mind.
I am sorry, i feel too strongly about this. I won't decide for anyone else, even though i pray to God to release my grandfather... but i will decide for myself, if it is in my power.

Just remember that Ayla was the best of her tribe, but physically. Ioka tribe chosed the strongest among them as their leader, while Laruba tribe chosed the wisest one.
