Lynx:
   You still don't know?
   I am the human
   incarnation of FATE...
   The living interface
   of the FATE computer
   system...
   Or put simply...
   I, too, am FATE!

humm... this can really be confusing. An interface wouldn't be necesarily the real thing. It like your windows/linux. Is your operating system = your computer? For any effect, you could say that it is, but it is not really that way. It's something needed to interact. So FATE created and interface for herself, using as raw materials the flesh and memories from Wazuki. Why did she needed an interface? To interact with the Frozen Flame. But sadly, this interface, Lynx, wasn't suitable for that task: Wazuki didn't have the Arbiter's DNA, but was all that FATE had in her reach. So she schemed to switch between interfaces: she destroyed Serge to create her new interface arbiter-compatible! Now for only 29.99$!!!

Uh... sorry about that

Btw ^_^ interfaces need to communicate with the computer. So it fits within this idea having Lynx talking to/ordering around FATE

It wouldn't be necessary that they had a Christ. Crono's planet might just have their own cross-based religion. Look at Zelda's games. Obviously there aren't "christians" there, but the the cross, along hyrule's history, appears, and becomes an important religious symbol.
Also, even though it has the name of "cathedral" it isn't actually a "christian cathedral" since the plant is not a latin cross.

An interesting question, though, would be: what happened to this religion? why did they lose the cathedral they have in the most important kingdom of the world?

oh... ok, so then there is the possibility of killing them... but at least, none of them ever was. It's a funny thing you know ^_^ they can be killed, somehow, but noone was actually able to.

But also Schala can use Lavos powers to hear and act through time. They are only one being... but a bit schizophrenic one. More like dual personalities. Anyway, if they would have been totally fused, if Lavos and Schala's minds were like one, i don't think even the Chrono Cross could have done anything.

From what i know, Greek Gods cannot be killed: Think of Cronos, devouring his children because he was prophetized that they would overthrow him. He ate them all except for Zeus, who was saved through trickery by his mother. When the Zeus came back to wage war on Cronos, he opened his father's belly and his brothers came out fully formed.
The titans who opposed Zeus, couldn't be killed either, so they were banished to the Tartarus (Hell) in life.
Even Zeus, while being sort of married with Metis, he was prophetized his son with her would dethrone him. So he tricked her, already pregnant, to become a fly and swallowed her. Metis went on alive inside of him, giving him advice. But 9 months after, Zeus began to have terrible headaches, and they opened his head to relieve him. From the whole, Athena sprouted. So, even a godly embryo is hard to kill lol :D

As for Prometheus, thankfully his punishment was not eternal: good old Hercules freed him. ^_^ Prometheus didn't deserve such punishment.
