The average MMOer spends upwards of twenty hours a week on his/her chosen MMO.

20 hours? My friend spends up to at least 40 hours on World of Warcraft! Ive played it once at his place and all I can say is it SUCKED! Give me the Chrono Series anyday.

Anyway, gj, Jossi, you converted him :)

Jossi converted me too! Sorry Sentanel if I was sounding rude earlier when we "arguing" over this topic. Now that I get two good pics next to each other I can see there not that much larger.  :D

Its possible the plate the island is on shifted just a tad to the right, for Lavos to be at the right place.

Hmmm yes, that generally what I was thinking too. But think of how out of place all the continents are compared to 1999...Lavos really moved and sunk lots of land. And it is also possible that Lavos did actually move himself he's not completely stuck in one spot.

I'd respect Crono more if he spoke. Like, I hate the whole "Silent Protagonist" thing. It annoys me because Crono never really explains anything he does, and there is no real background story to him. Its kinda like in a New Game its "woah and here is Crono! Now go off to some wild fair!". When I first played CT I was thinking: Who  the heck is this Crono? And stuff along the lines of those sorta questions.

Glenn's story was your typical "ah dammit, the big bad wizard killed my mentor! Now im gonna go kill him and tell him what it means to mess with a bloody frog!" Now I like those type of stories very much. It means lots of action and magic!

Ayla was useless in the storyline to the point that the game would function perfectly without her. She was, like Legend said, only good for wiping out enemies.

I didn't think Robo's story was too deep. It was just a tad emotional when they first meet him and when he leaves at the end. Nothing too fancy here. But he did help in CC with the lovel Prometheus Lock.

I know I stopped coming here for a good 2-3 months because really, I picked up pretty much everything the entire series has to offer. I think that may be the case with many users. When you start getting down to Kino = Schala, you know you've talked about everything.

Then now it means that everyone has to think further and more deeper on the series. Radical Dreamers is something that everyone should delve into I think. I've seen hardly any RD focused Threads.

But the down-side to this is that more people will be making more dodgy theories and the like which most people seem to take as nothing worth listening to.

Oh well, if we all just use our minds we can think deeper.

And this may also mean that the General Discussion thread may begin to be filled up with lots of threads relating to games and subjects completely unrelated to the Chrono Series.

Wikipedia spoiled KH II for me, revealing who's DiZ, the origins of Roxas and Namine, etc, etc...

Too bad. Ive never gone to Wikipedia when it comes to games. I almost clicked the link to the KH2 bit though. I had to try and resist.  :)

Ya know, if come to think that we actually need a special forum for introductions for new members as well as a place for when people leave etc.

EDIT: Nice, my 777th post!

Dark Serge's ability to levitate could also be a special power.

I remember reading somewhere (cant remember where though) that Dark Serge's ability to levitate was because Lynx new how to harness more powers from the Flame, meaning basically Lynx had more knowledge of how to use the Flame's powers than Serge did.

Final Fantasy charecters and disney do not work. Disney Charecters are just stupid.

Well if so, why was Kingdom Hearts such a big success? It does work, its just that it wouldnt be something ALL Final Fantasy fans would go for.

And like, did you actually expect to be playing a Final Fantasy? Take it as its own game.

Ah yes, definately Crono and Frog would win. But only after a pretty big battle between Serge and Glenn, it would be pretty close I think.

BTW the story of CC is very,... er,... in-depth. I found it difficult to understand for awhile too. I think Chrono Trigger was better.

Exctally why most people vote for CT being better than CC out of pure stupidity since they don't understand CC because they don't think it over, and CT is just simple so they go for it >.>

The fact that CC's story is complex i think lures me towards its story. I still find it amazing how Square managed to actually compile the story together.

Really, when it comes down to it, both games have great storylines.

How exactly did you cheat? Because for me to beat Marluxia, I need to cheat to beat it.

This is just what i didnt like about CoM, it was just too difficult for its own good. And I think that may have turned a lot of people away from it.

And I guess Mystik used a cheating device, I dunno...

Was there anytime where you felt like just giving up due to the mass of text that had to be translated?

Hollow Bastion won't be the "Traverse Town" of KH2, from what I've heard. I heard it was going to be a place called "Twilight Town", or something.

Hollow Bastion will be playing a major role though I think. It always was my favourite world. I think it was because it wasnt Disney and the fact that it was massive castle which you could actually scale in a way that made its height clear to the player.

I'm still stuck on Sora's story in CoM...I really hate the gameplay. But I'm enjoying the story, except for going through all the worlds again...augh. I'm looking forward to Riku's, though.

I hated CoM so much I gave it to a friend for free. I could not stand the gameplay to a point where I would have called it "hard". I know the general storyline so I mean I dont feel any need to play it.
