Chrono Compendium Discussion / Re: How do I delete myself?
« on: April 26, 2009, 08:17:08 pm »
Man, rule 1 of the internet is "Don't take it personally." If you feel that you were treated unfairly, you should see how badly people get flamed on the lifting forum I go to when they create a thread that makes it obvious they didn't read the FAQ. Even then, it's nothing personal, it's just to keep down repeat, off-topic, and prohibited threads.

If you're feeling depressed (and no offense, but it sounds like you are; I've been there lots), find somebody to talk to. Ya might not want to, but you need to. It'll help. Heck, PM me if you need to. As I said, depression/bipolar (never been to a shrink to find out which) is something I've been dealing with for about the last 8 years, if not more.

And about the gun comment... That's a little extreme. Guns are bad.

Guns are not bad. Using them to off yourself is bad. Using them to commit a crime is bad. Guns (in the hands of private citizens) are used to stop or prevent far more crimes than they are used to commit them. On top of that, doctors and automobiles are each involved in more deaths per year than guns are, yet you don't hear them vilified on the evening news.

General Discussion / Re: Spring and Summer
« on: April 24, 2009, 09:01:04 pm »
Spring and summer are my favorite times of the year. I think I have at least minor SAD.  I'll graduate college May 16th. It's looking like right now I'll be going back home for awhile. I'll find some kinda part time job, or a mix of a few, like lifeguarding and personal training and try to save up some money while giving me some time to devote to songwriting, guitar, and singing. Also need to spend some time getting myself back on the right track in my walk with God and seeking His will. Since I'll be home, I also wanna spend some time wandering the woods, on the lake fishing and sailing, and with a bonfire at night.

No biggie though, E.D. is E.D. no matter how you look at it.

You know, they make Viagra and Cialis for that, right?

I get Amish grown stuff regularly, and have since before organic became chic. I do it because it's cheaper. Same with anything I do that happens to be "eco-friendly". The whole green movement really annoys the p*ss outa me to be honest about it. As a society, we're a lot better about pollution and such than we were 30-50 years ago, and it shows in that it doesn't hurt to breathe in downtown LA at noon on a hot summer day. We need to watch that we don't get there again, but most of the stuff now is just certain people trying to control average citizens more than they should be able to.

Yeah, the joke works a bit better with Valentine's Day. Happy V.D.! Get yourself checked.

BTW Amish chocolate is the best I may have ever tried. I don't know what I was expecting when I tried it the first time, but I wasn't expecting the most awesome delicious manmade tasty treat ever to grace my tongue! That shit is fantastic.

Eh, I used the material I had available...

I've never had Amish chocolate. The ones near me don't make it. Chicken, beef, turkey, vegetables, pies, half moon pies, etc., though, all marvelous.

Eh, CC on DS would be great and all but I'd rather see Radical Dreamers.

I wouldn't mind if they'd make it like CT or CC rather than text driven. I don't mind ebooks, but I'd prefer to not have an ebook masquerading as a game...

General Discussion / Re: AIM/MSN/Yahoo/IRC Chat

AIM - RedNeckCowBoy007
Yahoo! - rebel_cowboy_1984
MSN - rodeo_redneck at hotmail.com

I hardly ever use MSN anymore because of the spambots.

Guess I'll hafta learn about IRC, now...

Hmm... Mitsuda (I think?), then. The CT composer.

General Discussion / Re: So... Do you dream?
« on: April 23, 2009, 10:36:32 pm »
I dream occasionally, but not as often as I'd like. Or at least, I rarely ever remember my dreams. The ones I do remember are really weird. Like CIA strike force assaulting an alien science base on another planet weird.

General Discussion / Re: Stuff you LOVE, baby
« on: April 23, 2009, 04:03:14 pm »
Friends. I make music as a solo artist or what have you, and after playing and singing a song for a friend, he recommended I sing for HIS friend's band, which is looking for a vocalist. I happened to have the guy's number already so I called him and I'm trying out tonight!

If sparks fly, this could be rather fun. I haven't been in a band with other people since high school, as it's very hard to find a group of musicians all on the same page, with each person playing a different instrument and having a practice space available.

Here's hoping!

I do some songwriting and play guitar and sing a little bit... Came to school for music business to figure out how to get myself a record deal and then in 4 years decided I dunno how much I wanna be on the road all year long even if I can improve my singing and guitar enough to get that...

Having said that, I do still love songwriting. The feeling of sitting there and putting down words in a rhythmic pattern that nobody has heard yet, and being able to sing along with it is wunderbar.

And chess is good, though I haven't played in years... Online game sometime?

I remember making some stained glass stuff in high school art class... I think that there's some people on here who would definitely do something like that.

Well, we could also say that it started and ended with the Millennial Fair...

Even with what you said, it would be accurated.

Lost is the center of everything

I thought that everything started with CT and everything ended with CT. That is my belief, at least for now.

General Discussion / Re: SPC to MIDI converter not unzipping?
« on: April 23, 2009, 02:14:45 am »
Are there any batch SPC/PSF->MIDI/WAV/MP3/etc converters available? I don't like WinAmp, other than the player linked above, none of the spc players on zophar's site will work for me, and I'd prefer to be able to play files in with all my other music.

Chrono / Gameplay Casual Discussion / Re: Recycling bad guys...

When I first heard about and saw Cross, I was a bit put-off that it didn't see directly related to Trigger. So, I didn't try to hard to find a way to play it. Having read through some of this stuff, though, I'm more looking forward to getting a chance to play, now that I have that available to me.
